    Charlie, I always worry that when you go around that blind corner, a dump truck is going to hit you head on. Please be careful! I want to see more of your great videos!

    Hi Charlie, it seems that the Optima has really become more upscale. What reasons would you go for the Cadenza rather than the Optima hybrid? They both use a lot of high gloss plastic in the center area, leather, and high fuel efficiency. Is it just the space? Is the Cadenza a lot quieter than the Hyundai Sonata and Kia Optima hybrid?

    • @AsianPetrolhead
      @AsianPetrolhead  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, Kia Cadenza is larger, quitter and with bigger trunk space. And i think design is tailored for more older people with Cadenza. So, but yeah Kia Optima is really nice car, too. Thanks Kevin.

    Hey Charlie. Thanks for the review. Any idea if the refreshed Cadenza and Cadenza hybrid will make it to Canada/US? I just noticed Kia Canada's website doesn't show the Cadenza anymore. If I was shopping for a G80 the Cadenza hybrid seems like it could be a good alternative if Genesis doesn't offer any hybrid models.

    💖Beautiful Car inside and out!! I'm very impressed with the interior, very high quality lots of room, my only thing is the horsepower is just tooo low for me... But never the less a nice sedan! Charlie, very detailed review... Man u getting better and better.. I think I only watch u and one other guy ... But man u are #1

      Yes, Chris. this is hybrid model, so number wise it is not impressive. But if you do drive it, it doesn't feel weak both from the city driving and also on the highway, because 38kW motor just gives you instant push right off the bat. Thank you Chris for your kind words. I am working on it!!!! ^^

    I love the changes they made to the K7! But compared to the new Grandeur, it's not so nice. Usually, I like the Kia model rather than the Hyundai model. But not in this case. Thanks for the review Charlie!

    • @AsianPetrolhead
      @AsianPetrolhead  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, i think Hyundai made more radical design changes, while Kia stayed with more conservative approach. But i guess it is matter of choice. thank you John.

    Nice look. I was expecting a place for spare tires because the current optima hybrid used that space for battery. The toyota camry and honda accord and also the new sonata hybrid followed that design. Seems if kia used a smaller battery on this cadenza they will get worse efficiency and decided not to have a clear wheel well?

    • @AsianPetrolhead
      @AsianPetrolhead  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you are right. This hybrid system is carried over, that is probably why. But the new Sonata has battery under the rear seats. Not sure about the battery size. I am sure engineer thought about both efficiency and cost. Thank you Ming for tuning in. And please do support us by subscribing. thank you.

    I like how Kia/Hyundai make their hybrids more powerful than standard variants or at least, as powerful. Many hybrids cheap out on performance but Kia/Hyundai don't as I want something that is enjoyable, just more fuel economical though I am surprised it only makes 159hp as a 2.4L when other 2.0L Nu Engine can make the same amount. It looks very foggy like lots of smoke has blown over from China. Still not as bad pollution as Australia at the moment though, we have severe problem at the moment :)

    The Cadenza hybrid should be using 18" wheels and tires, so should the Optima. Other manufacturers are doing that now. My 2017 Optima hybrid is running on 225/50 17" tires and it is also has lowering springs installed. Rides and handles much better now. The Cadenza would do better with larger wheels and tires.

    • @AsianPetrolhead
      @AsianPetrolhead  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well. Yes. 18inch is offered. But our tester had 17inchs. I guess they wanted to give us Cadenza hybrid that return most efficiency. Thank you. Waynerm

Ok, i understand 0-60mph is 0-100kmh but i don't know what 6 foot 2 inches is equal to metric system. If you like to be an international channel for all over the world, i suggest you to do so.
