The ACT series was renamed Aircontact, so the packs are almost the same. The important difference is that the Lite versions weigh noticeably less, and have a more minimal frame and padding. Thanks for watching!
Hi guys, what is the main difference between the aircontact and the aircontact pro versions? It seems to be the fabric right? Do They share the same features? I'm so confused between aircontact 75+10 and aircontact pro 70+15. Thanks guys
Yes, I think the differences are mostly in the fabric and padding thicknesses. Also the standard Aircontact has X-shaped aluminium stays instead of V-shaped on the Aircontact Pro. I have an Aircontact Pro 70 + 15 and the materials are very thick (much thicker than on two other packs I have, the Osprey Atmos AG 65 and the Lowe Alpine Manaslu 65:75), and the amount of padding on the back and hipbelt is pretty extreme. To test the Aircontact Pro, I filled it up so that it weighs 25kg, and it's still comfortable. There is a big weight penalty - it's 3.35kg when empty - but for super-heavy loads it's an excellent pack.
Would you guys say the 2019 version of the Aircontact is better than the 2016 (I believe) model? I get the feeling the earlier model has better reviews on the internet
The newer backpanel was designed to be more breathable and foster better airflow. Some folks preferred the channel style on the older one, but it comes down to personal preference on the feel!

I own a osprey atmos ag 65 but this pack in the video is absolutely beautiful
They are both equally amazing packs, hard to choose which one to go with haha
Osprey has great product but after wearing thus pack it's incredibly more comfortable then any pack under 300.

Not really, the velcro takes a bit of effort to unfasten

This model is considered a unisex model, so if it fits it could be worn by any user! Deuter also makes a women’s specific model, if one would prefer,
