    Really helpful video, thank you :D For a women I have a very long torso, but also narrow shoulders and wide hips, so have had a lot of trouble finding something that will be suitable. Whack it together with a bad back and a penchant for multi city hopping around and I have a long list of requirements for my bag. I have been researching the Deuter Avaiant for a while, and your review has decided me; I really do think it's going to be the one for me. Have a great day.

      ❤️ Thanks Jean - really glad you enjoyed our review, and I hope you're happy with the pack! Mine has been with me for quite a few trips and all-day hikes and still my favourute
      Thanks also for the Buy Me a Coffee support - really put a smile on my face ☺️

    Ralph, I guess there are worse things than being addicted to buying backpacks! LOL. That is a pretty ingenious bag. My Osprey has the same waist belt design. It is very nice. Much easier to pull forward to tighten, rather than pulling outwards. Nice that you got a screaming deal on such a night pack! 4.75 means it's a winner; maybe it is the Rolls Royce?

    G'day Ralph.
    Good review mate.
    That cover is a good idea.
    I much prefer to pull forward to tighten the waist belt.
    Ditto with the packs lol.
    I have sold 10 of my pack over the last few months.
    For now I have found a style of pack that works well for me.
    Keep them coming.
    All the best.
    Clive.

    Love my deuter backpack. Sooo comfortable. However, I found that being a 45 litre, I didn't have enough room for winter gear. They also don't deny themselves to having much attached to the outside, unlike the Tasmanian Tiger Raid 3 I purchased which is a 52 litre and has molle webbing. Chalk and cheese when it comes to comfort though. Deuter wins the comfort race by far.

    Thank you for a great review! I'm considering purchasing the 65+10 SL Aviant Access Pro, which looks to be a very similar pack. It's advertised as being ideal for people with a smaller build - I'm 188cm, so I'm worried that it might be a little on the small side. It's obviously a different pack, but from your experience with this one, would you say that that's a valid concern?

    • @GeoterricsOutdoorsAustralia
      @GeoterricsOutdoorsAustralia  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the comment Daniel - the frame size is smaller and so is the volume, and for hiking it won't fit a decent sized tent as well as a sleeping bag and all overnight gear, food, etc. As a travel bag for a few nights it's great and with day pack it's a great co figuration

    How do you do. Thanks for the polite review! I'm thinking of replacing this bag. If you know, please let me know, is there a function to hang a padlock on the zipper of this bag?

    • @GeoterricsOutdoorsAustralia
      @GeoterricsOutdoorsAustralia  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the question. Yes, you can use a small padlock on the zippers 👍
