It's a shame the endpapers were creased and went in so badly. Try putting the corner reinforcements in at the same time as the spine cloth and then overlap them all with the cover paper.
The background music is wretched ... very annoying. It feels, to me, like the wrong musical accompliment, playing at a fast tempo, for what seems to be a slow methodical bookbinding process. A more laid back, calming sound, would be more appropriate ... In my opinion. One thumb up 👍 for craftsmanship ... One thumbs down for music choice 👎
I'm not sure who taught you this method but sewing the book in this method won't allow it to open flat without pulling on the covers (I notice a lot of creasing in the inside cover). It looks very similar to a Japanese stab binding with is designed to hold single pages together. The video you shared though was very good at taking you through all stages but not sure the book will be very durable using your method.
