i was thinking the exact same thing. Tony stark is an unpredictable billionaire who hacked into shield files in avengers 1. Thor is from the same planet Loki is from. Captain America has been asleep for a long time and needs some time to catch up with the world. Although in Winter Soldier he looks caught up and is working on some covert missions wit black widow. Bruce Banner is a scientist not an agent. what about black widow and hawkeye though ? I can't figure out why they don't have clearance. Yep. Being heroes doesn't get you clearance in the spy games. Seal Team Six are real life heroes. Doubt they have clearance with the CIA or any intelligence group. They're only told what they need to know to do what they are wanted to get done. While the Avengers were created by SHIELD, they are tools for the jobs needed done.

Most of these sins are valid, but as the series progresses most of them earn forgiveness. Coulson's resurrection is a subversion of the comic book heroes always come back with no consequences trope. The problem is that till the consequences come to light it is played like a standard resurrected comic book hero cliche which results in rolled eyes from the audience. It is a master stroke later on but its initial introduction leaves something to be desired.
@@BadWolf739 I have never thought about that, it was always clear to mean that there something big happening behind the scenes, and he wasn't just magically back and fine.

They could’ve easily been a “blink and you’ll miss it” cameo like Howard the Duck was in the final battle. It wouldn’t be that hard.
That's not the shows fault though. lol
fr like imagine the zephyr showing up in battle. or ghost rider pulling up in his charger.
Just saying this is my favorite show, but everything said in this video was true lol.
As someone whose favorite show this also is I can tell you no, it certainly was not all true.
It kinda was, I mean it was all true just to the extreme. But all of it was there.
@@picklejuice3838
Then I'm afraid you weren't paying too much attention.
5:31 Ward: I can't wait to drop this guy in the ocean next season.
I love this show so much, no season has been disappointing! Was waiting for you to cover this 🥳
Wellllll season one was the more lackluster of the series. But that's my opinion
@@Pokemankalos Yeah, but the ending of season 1 was very very good. I've never seen a show go from bland to amazing as fast. Everything after "End of the beginning" is great
I strongly agree. The show did get much better from there and continued on that upward path.
Check out this panel of Ming-Na Wen (Agent May) people think she was STONED the whole time.
th-cam.com/video/q6m5FKcmb2o/w-d-xo.html
The show definitely got better after Winter Soldier blew up their original premise. Before that it was looking like a paint by numbers spy drama that happened to be marvel.
This show is so fucking good. Despite its various problems, the writing is consistently very good. I don't there has been a episode of the show that hasn't been great since the early part of season 1. It's a shame it's so underrated.
To be fair. The "on/off pair plot" is pretty good/dramatic and actually relevant for the story
Although many of his fellow S.H.I.E.L.D. agents really never got the point of it, Ward thought it was a sharp idea to stick with his training of using a drawer as a means of defending himself from an attacker even if a knife could be easily used instead.
you don't know the relief and happiness i felt when he not only didn't sin Chloe but removed one.
she really is a goddess
One of my favorite TV shows.
finally!!! one of he best shows on television
this show gets better with each episode. you just gotta power through 16 episodes. with Winter Soldier crossover shit gets real.
This show is just amazing! Slow start, but damn!
AoS version of Ghost Rider is absolutely fantastic.
You forgot to remove ten sins for the fact that in like half a season this show will this a sudden stride that makes it consistently a massively underrated TV show with deep character arcs and impactful moments.
2:40 Well, according to Winter Soldier Captain America is level 8
And the pilot obviously takes place before Winter Soldier.
Holy crap! My favourite show of all time! I know it might not seem like it at the beginning, but this show is soooooo good!
100%
"Are we sure we're rooting for this guy?"
haha you realy don't know anything, right?
“Why wouldn’t she lock the doors of her van?” Honestly, I don’t think her van has locks.....
Skye's van is parked behind the diner, conveietly next to a good will drop box. That is where she gets her clothes.
I, and probably everyone who has ever seen _Back to the Future,_ had that exact same thought when the car started levitating. Even so, it still made me chuckle to see it in this video.
I've been watching AoS since it started and I loved it and still do, is my absolute favorite show!! It gets better with every season, I highly recommend it!
Still one of the best shows on TV.
very very debatable.
Best show on tv now
Science person here. At 7:29 a character refers to something called "bayesian inference" which is a real thing, unlike "basion inference". In context, the line actually makes sense for the kinds of science one might use to get useful data out of multiple incomplete sources of information, which is what that character appears to have done in that scene (I haven't actually watched the episode). Have a nice day :)
Classic "do no research and assume something is wrong" sin from Jeremy and his writers. Unfortunately, most people don't bother to look these things up either and wind up getting duped.
I know the pilot and a s1 in general looks pretty dumb, but the next seasons are way better, and it's actually the best superhero show I've ever seen
This is one of the rarest shows that is better each season. It’s last few seasons were some of the best television. Bar none. (Last half of four, all of 5, and 6 has maybe one rough episode). Still enjoy your sins, but love this show
I'm not usually one to do this, but:
It's spelled Bayesian.
*ding*
I love this entire show so much...not saying it’s perfect but it is one of my favorite.
Someone has never seen blindspot...
Also speaking of blindspot, do that one next.
Remi is a bad person
Agents of SHIELD must be the only show that got ridiculously better with age. Season 1 doesn’t even feel like the same show.
Coulson is worth at least one sin off as the show progresses
*sarge
@@tomcruickshank7725 Sarge really shows how great of an actor Clark Gregg is. He feels like a completely different character to Coulson, cold and calculating rather than warm and witty.
I don't know if it is a personal choice from Gregg, but it feels that like there are as many similarities between Sarge and Coulson as there are differences.
More like 100
@@tristanflynn4014
It's definitely intentional, probably from the writers though. Gregg just gives an incredible interpretation of the script (I'm sure he added his style of course).
Seeing Skye/Daisy/Tremors/Quake/TheBreakerofWorlds as naive and eager hacker gives me nostalgia
The entire SHIELD team in general is completely different now from how they were in the first season, & that is character growth done right.
It's Destroyer of Worlds though.
Please do Everything Wrong With Frasier.
I don't think a 14 hour video fits on this channel.
Most of these sins are valid, but as the series progresses most of them earn forgiveness. There’s reasons for the secrets, recruiting skye, Coulson’s resurrection is well done in the long run, FitzSimmons is well done. The only thing that could have been a lot better is the integration into the movies, but that means coordinating a TV shooting schedule and a movie shooting schedule for an entire TV cast which is basically impossible.
4:39 someone overheard uncle Ben talking to 11 year old peter
Why is he 11? LOL
@@zingzaber6989 that's how old Peter was during the battle of new York
I know this show has issues, I'm just... sooo happy to see you doing it!
No matter what, I will watch it anyway. Because we have a small but active fan base.
"Is she a show-car" made me laugh so hard I missed the next two lines! I feel sorry for the young whipper-snappers that don't get why it's hilarious.
Finally!!! Robin from how I met your mother !! Finally!!
Finally! Now do 9 more for this show like its GoT as you’ve barely scratched the surface of this puppy.
9:18 Do you even season 4 bro?
I love this show, please keep doing more of these episodes.
It would be awesome if y'all did daredevil and the other marvel netflix shows
"Well, the man is angry at the other man."

🤣🤣🤣
I swear, after watching your vids, I can’t watch a movie or tv series without catching flaws as I go, and having arguments in my head trying to connect the storyline. I’m always unintentionally getting mad when something doesn’t add up, or isn’t scientifically possible, to the point where I don’t end up liking the show/movie. Something could be a great movie, but because of the few details that mess it up, it screws it up for me. Ahhh, but I adore your channels.
At some point, I’d appreciate it if you’d look over The Society one day. Thanks :)

I don't know why people hate so much on the first season. I loved it! Especially when there were appearances by Fury, Maria Hill, Peggy Carter, and Lady Siff
Please do Everything Wrong With Camp Camp.
Just wait until he gets to parting shot. Shit was more emotional than iton man's death
Amazing show
TWO Sneakers references in one TVSins?! I understood them, and I loved them!
Some of these critisisms are fair, some very nitpicky and some are just weird things to complain about. Some, are even plain wrong. Like Coulson being ressurected. If you have watched the show, you know thats not a sin, but a big, big win.
@@David-bf2cg I caught it about three or four episodes in when I realised that whenever someone asked Coulson about Tahiti where he supposedly was on vacation he always answered with the same phrase "it's a magical place". But until then it did very much feel like they were undoing a lot of the emotional impact of the first Avengers movie. I'm not really sure if there's anything they could actually do to have fixed that given what they were going for but it still does register as a problem when watching the pilot on its own. And if you use pilots to gauge if you want to continue watching the series that's a bit of a problem.
@@BadWolf739 Yeah I get that, I guess. But Maria and that doctor definitely hinted at there being something more then this whole thing.
@@David-bf2cg
Exactly, that scene with Hill and the doctor was as obvious as they could get.
Extra sin in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America is level 8 and he still doesn't know that Coulson is alive.
7:14 I was in hospital a month ago and I could open the windows there... but maybe Germany is different from the US.
Coulson never got to reunite with the Avengers 😢😢😢
And they prolly think he's still dead
“Are we seriously supposed to root for this guy?” No definitely not
'Everything Wrong With Chuck' or 'Everything Wrong with Psych' would be great
1:20 Well, as it turns out.......not necessarily ;) HEIL HYDRA!!!
I’m rewatching AOS again, and thanks to this video I am going to refer to Ward as Agent Jawline every time I talk about him.
“Also, since when do hospitals have windows that open?”
Birdman would like to have a word with you.
The biggest problem with Agents of SHIELD is that it took the mystery out of Coulson. But, I still watch it. *Ding!*
