- In this video i will attempt a nuzlocke in the game loomian legacy veils of shadow. The rules:
1. If a loomian faints it dead and you can't use it anymore.
2. You can only catch the first loomian you see in a route.
3. You can only use 1 medical item per battle.

The first gym type is actually a duel dark and light type so that’s why there’s a bunch of stuff about balance.

Actually cathorn is really decent early game! If you get it to level 16 with the repeatable trainer in route 3, it can be really strong with a base stat of 484 which btw is higher than a stage 2 starter.And it can be good in the duskit fight at gale forest since its weak to bug.The same with grubby.
Also, why did you not switch train your loomians on every battle? like that you would have a levelly balanced team.
Geklow does actually help on the first gym since shine is super effective against the vambat and kleptyke
in my opinion, I think grubby is pretty better than cathorn

sadly cathorns final evolution cant really handle the second gym well bc it doesnt get a good air type move (btw bug actually isnt weak to fire in defence,just offence)

Btw you can use the dupe clause to where if you find a loomian that you already have or can evolve into or have already evolved from then you can skip that loomian and encounter a new one

I did this but with a bit different rules I can only catch 3 loomians per place or route and I can only catch male loomians so if I find legendary but it’s a female I have to run away from it and everything else is normal nuzlock rules

let me tell u something. u can beat first gym with just 2 pokemon. a bug type with bug bite and a grass type like fevine or antsee. use the fevine to counter geklows and use growl until u have low health.then swtich to the bug type.i used the second evo of grubby but u can use others.then use bug bite on kleptyke
