Went to see the new Ghostbusters Afterlife at my local Crawley branch, and we booked an IMAX showing because that was the most convenient showing we could go to. It was absolutely amazing! Blown away by the size of the screen and the sound quality. When the film rumbled, our chairs rumbled! Overall, I totally recommend seeing films in the IMAX screens. The only downside to our experience was that it was extremely cold in the room, so much that we had to wear coats over our legs to keep warm... For reference, it was the IMAX screen near screen 4 in the Crawley Branch.
Definitely bring earplugs, holding your hands over your ears for two hours at a time gets uncomfortable and makes one look silly. Sound levels are reported equal to being at a Formula One race.
liemax . enough said about liemax and still shame on empire cinemas for ruining Empire Leicester Square Empire 1, THX, cos I don't even bother to travel to london anymore now to watch a movie, not since 2013 when Empire was utterly ruined for a liemax tiny screen and yes it is tiny screen cos it doesn't classify as premiere sized auditorium anymore. enough said about liemax. the seating in this liemax looks dull and morbid looking. Empire 1, THX had classy warm red colour that was welcoming and the lighting system is still far better than the tatty liemax. and putting two liemax screens back to back to show the same, yes the other screen is son of the liemax, spawn of screen liemax, to showing the same movie only to scam the public. one in liemax sound the other atnos or atflos or whatever it is, it is a scam. liemax = no ticket sale for me.
I watched no time to die, sat in row H right in the middle and it was impressive, field of vision was almost perfectly filled, id sit 1 row back next time it was a tad close slightly low but there wasn't much need to look a the top of the screen, could just about see both side edges. 1 row back will sort it for sure. Going to see no way home at bfi soon, sitting second row from the back, in the middle, it might be too far away but I'll come back and report
@Action Shorts pointless going there unless it’s for IMAX 15/70mm. so anything nolan makes. otherwise for digital 1.9 stuff, cineworld leicester sqr is where it’s at
What films have you seen in IMAX? Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight for the win!

4DX is better
@@AC-LING666 I feel like it would be nauseating. Is it?
What jobs/careers are available working with/in IMAX?
Cinema cleaner
I want to try IMAX
Apparently due to the position of the speakers it’s best to sit near the centre of the auditorium
Yeah, great, but when will you actually bring IMAX to Poole!!??
no, heavens, no we don't need another liemax in this town
Most are liemax with tiny screens
Please bring imax to Wembley disnger outlet.
Make a theater combining 4dx screenx and imax it would be a lifetime experience
