Progression isn’t always landing and coming out the way you thought it would. Progression is what you learned from the experience for sure. I road a 10 miles trail yesterday. Till this point I’d only ridden four or five miles. It’s was the hardest most technical trail I’ve done yet. But I finished and am hurting all over. But never have I been so proud and felt so accomplished. You Seth, BoBo and Kev have all inspired me so much to push myself.
Kevin seems like a such different person when he is at Seth's place, he goes from a wild man on Bobo's videos to very mellow on Alex and or Seth's. Btw, Very entertaining video you got here Alex.

When I was into BMX dirt jumping, the best thing I ever learned was how to properly get away from the bike in the air. Take a few sessions and learn to push the bike away from you and do it in various positions that would cause a fall. It will build confidence just knowing you can and will have safer crashes.
The music montage is nearly insane dudee. The fade when clip is gonna finish, that narrating, your choice of music... List goes on. Keep up the good work dude. You got insane videos.
I’m not mad that you upload like every 2 weeks. Reason being is that you put so much time into your videos. They are top notch quality. Keep up the great work. Don’t worry about uploading more. It’s perfect the way it is 👍🏽🥳

I CANNOT believe that you've come this far Alex. I've been watching you since the beginning, and have enjoyed every second of your journey. Live Free, Ride Hard, And Get Stoked!!!
Man, have to make bike cushions, maybe clip on pool noodle style (call them Ramen Pads or something.) You can put them on the bars, fork, pedal ends and frame to help lessen the chance if injury from the hard bike itself. A blow from a bar end or a pedal is still inevitable, but it might be a fun experiment if you decide to hit the bag again! Always stoked to watch a video from you guys 👊😁
Loving Alex, always okay with showing his true self with insecurities and all. I really appreciate that, showing others is okay to feel insecure and take precautions before committing. Thank you Alex!
I think what we all need is for Singletrack Sampler and Skills with Phil to Collab and cause as much confusion in the comment section as possible. Ive gotten them mixed up so many times that i now check what channel im watching everytime i see a guy with long hair and a beard on screen.
This is one of the best SS vids from Alex I have ever seen! Not only was the production playful, but Alex's persistence on day 2 was inspiring. I have definitely pushed so hard before that I lose a few good days of training to nursing soreness or injuries. We all get caught up in the moment when we're stoked on something.
HaHa I had a good laugh when you said “it’s hot out, it’s like 90 degrees out.” 😂 I’m from Arizona and I wish we had 90 degree summer days. I think yesterday’s temperature was 117.😂 Anyway keep up the great work, I love what your doing with the channel!
Although I’ll give it to ya, 117 is quite hot. But I’m from GA and I know what Seth and Alex mean when they say 90 is hot. It’s fairly hot but extremely humid, like hard to breath it’s so muggy out. Anyway, I’d love to be able to get out to Arizona sometime! Cheers!
Marque Markofthebeast Honestly I’m new to mtb as well. I know that there’s some pretty sick trails up north around Sedona and flagstaff, if ur willing to drive up there. But for trails closer to me and you, I’ve heard there’s some decent trails around gold canyon and the Superstition mountains. Once it cools down a bit I’m planning to do some more riding and exploring.
HUUUUGE respect to showing your fails. Almost everyone with an MTB channel really only shows the gnar. It’s unrealistic! I love the channels on TH-cam that show us their human side.
Alex is so dang Inspiring. I've only been on his channel for about two days and now I just wanna go outside and do something. This guy literally got me from a stay in my room all day kinda person to somebody who wants to explore nature trails and stuff. Thanks Alex!
Alex i started the day watching your video, the day to day didnt let me finish it until the afternoon, the whole day i knew you were gonna make it and you did, i got really stoked by the end of the video at the end of my day, thanks for sharing your experience!!!
Bro, great video, don't ever feel like you need to present only your best moments to us. As a newer rider it feels great watching this video knowing that you hit the same mental blocks I do when presented with new challenges. It makes you feel more human to me when I watch it and its very appreciated, so thanks!
You SENT it dude! I'm still recovering from my first taste of singletrack and videos like this keep me motivated to get back out there as soon as I can. Love your videos
Great video! Never stop sharing your fails, dude. When you only see someone's successes or best moments, like is often the case on social media, it takes away some of the most interesting human factor. Seeing people fail, especially those we look up to in terms of skill, reminds us we're all human and we don't have to feel bad when we don't succeed at something as fast as we'd like to.
Alex's video production is going way up now that he's hanging around Seth so much. I love it. The voice over, faster cuts, better story telling. Keep it up!
I love how seth is able to regocnize how good you actually are and builds your Confidence without pushing you over your limits. Thats how a more expierenced riding partner should be and i'm extremly grateful that my riding partner is just lile that

It’s incredible to see such an amazing mountain biker as yourself still get scared and still take some nasty falls. It’s so important for all the new folks out there to see!!!! HUGE THANK YOU.
THIS is the content we want Alex! Sitting on my couch and watching this made my heart thump just like it does when I myself stand in front of a scary feature. It’s not exhilarating watching Red Bull pros succeed every trick and feature they pursue - it IS when someone uses great video skills and creativity to send you straight into that shaky nervous feeling of make-or-brake that we all crave in mountain biking, as if we’re on the bike ourselves. I love videos like yours, Paul the Punter and Seth because seeing someone else hesitate and fail and try again and again and again is more relatable, vivid and engaging for me as a viewer! Thank you, keep it up! 🤘🏼
The reason why you are great Alex is because you share your successes and failures, and people can really relate to you 🤘🏼😁. It started getting in your head a little, but you will totally crush it next time!
Great that you post these video. It's valuable to so many (me included) to see you battling with the mental side and succeed, especially for us who have the same struggles. So many youtube videos out there of super confident can do anything guys, that you think it's a different breed, But you can do it and represent the middle ground, greying the distinction.
That’s why I love this sport. It’s a battle to make yourself better. Every new thing we learn becomes a part of us in this sport. Great video Alex, thank you for sharing!
Dude. I love that you posted this video. It's awesome to see a realistic view of how hard it is to learn a new trick. Failure and learning can be the same thing. It's all about perspective. Keep up the good work.
Always make the video Alex. You're bad days are better than some our good days. It's more inspiring to see good riders work for things than just seeing them always nail it the first time!

Another amazing edit/video man. Love the new story telling and editing you are doing. Normally I’d see this thumbnail and say “oh I’ve seen seths version of you hitting this, no need to watch yours” but with how much you’ve come in your editing I am now stoked to see even the same material in your own style posted! Keep up the awesome work and video. Oh, and go ahead and move in to seths house hahaha I love the videos you make together !
Best in the biz Alex!!! Love, love, love your content. Your honest look into the ups and downs that come with a hobby like this motivate me to get out on the trail.
Amazing to see the mental block in a rider that's got a lot of experience. I felt for your body and mind because I imagine editing that footage would of been brutal! Your community is gonna love whatever you put out because we all know you're a legend. Even if you were dissapointed in yourself, watching you lock up in the air like a salmon will get you just as much, if not more exposure than you sailing through the air in style :)
Alex, it took me 35 years to learn tables!! I literally just learned them a few months ago and it took going to a foam pit and forcing myself to do them.
