I'm glad that I watched episode 1 right after the pilot because the pilot itself to me, while having some funny moments, is structured kind of messily. There are flashbacks within flashbacks and it was a little disorienting to watch. Episode 1 is SO much cleaner and made me want to really stick with the series

A lot of the pilots I've worked on have the same kind of weird structure; they're usually not intended as an actual episode, but rather a means of establishing the settings, the characters and their dynamics, the tone, and a little bit of plot to kick it off. The pilots of most shows never even really get seen by audiences, unless there's some kind of special release.
I think they fund this series with merch sales and Patreon donations and that's how they get around the TH-cam monetization issues, so it probably doesn't even matter whether the TH-cam TOS guidelines likes their adult content or not.

I'll be honest here. I feel like you guys aren't giving this show the same kind of care and attention that you gave shows like gravity falls and owl house and its really unfortunately. Yes its a silly crass show with rude humour but its also story driven and mega detailed (look at the posters and photos on the walls etc.) filled with tons of lore (the class system and the different rings etc.) and its unfortunate that you are missing all of this gold (and a lot of the plot and massaging). Maybe a rewatch would make sense idk.

It was a recent ad suitability change. Basically TH-cam is bending over to advertisers who want “advertiser friendly content” it’s become horribly out of control the past month We had to completely black out every moment with a gun in this past last of us reaction just to get it up. Took us like 4-5 re-edits before they’d let us monetize it
