    Hi Sid, 2 questions if you don’t mind,
    1. Do you disconnect the gutter pipes or is gkpro ok to go down? If you do disconnect or shuv a cup down then how do you then mop up gutters and dispose? where do u rinse it if it hits the ground?
    2. I know you’ve moved on to your new bit of kit but I’ve got a back pack, so do you just run water through it after softwash or actually rinse?
    Thanks

    • @PartridgeExteriorCleaning
      @PartridgeExteriorCleaning  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes mate I disconnect it and leave it to run till the solution is dry on the roof.
      And the backpack is fine mate but yea what you said, rinse it out for a good 10 mins , bio sticks to everything :D

    Fantastic video mate.
    How are you applying the soft wash?
    Is that a big boy tank?
    No problems with using algeclear though the pump?
    Last question lol.
    Do you just run water though the pump to clean once finished?
    Thanks for any help you can give me mate.

    • @PartridgeExteriorCleaning
      @PartridgeExteriorCleaning  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes mate it's a big boy 2,
      And not so far, I've heard that algo clear is safe to use through pumps but always rinse it out afterwards anyway. And yeah just flush water through it pal.
      Thanks for the support Craig/

      Oh sorry mate I thought this comment was on a different video. For this brush you’ll need to go on wolf and garten website or affiliate website, you’ll need to buy the pole, get the longest one you can, and then in the accessories or tools section you’ll see a set of wire brushes, usually come in a pack of 2 or 3

    Hi great job. How much would it cost to have a roof cleaning as Ned like this ? I have one needing cleaned

    • @PartridgeExteriorCleaning
      @PartridgeExteriorCleaning  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Brendan, prices vary massively between methods, the area you live and the contractor you are using but a job like this needing no scaffolding, cherry pickers or much working at height.. you would be looking between 500-750. Expect much more if it would be a more difficult property to clean.

  • @rabbitskinner
    @rabbitskinner 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Why don't you just soft wash it all over with diluted sh (using a 12v pump and j-rod) and let the elements take care of it? That's what we do in the U.S. and Australia

    • @PartridgeExteriorCleaning
      @PartridgeExteriorCleaning  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With a roof like this that method would of been acceptable but some parts of the roof were quite heavy with moss so it would of turned out patchy. The vast majority of roof cleans here in the UK are based on moss removal first as its a big problem here and not so much in the US so I just follow a scrape and biocide system for my jobs as I can bank on the results more. Not as experienced with using SH.

    • @rabbitskinner
      @rabbitskinner 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@PartridgeExteriorCleaning SH is king mate, spray and go. Spray 100l and it won't be patchy. Then up sell a gutter clean. Each country has its own method I guess. Our pain is black mold which is infact an algae

    • @PartridgeExteriorCleaning
      @PartridgeExteriorCleaning  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rabbitskinner Yeah i watch the US softwashing vids regularly, completely different world and a hell of a lot quicker. Pulling in £1000 for a mornings work giving a roof a spray. Very jealous :D This was my first video theres a lot newer ones uploaded recently on my channel which wil lshow you what i mean with the moss problem. It has to be taken away before being softwashed, theres just too much of it.
