Love your videos, especially the what to wear. I changed a jacket for my last trip based on your advice and was so glad to have a comfortable classy jean jacket. Question: how did you pack this wardrobe? I never check a bag so am wondering if you got everything you took into carryon size bags.
Thank you!! I love wearing my jean jacket on trips, its such a flexible item 😊. Although I packed this capsule for a road trip, I did fit all of it in a carry on size suitcase using my compression packing cubes and had plenty of room!
I am enamored with my Eddie Bauer Aster crossover dress. It has huge pockets, And an antimicrobial fabric. I have 3 of them in 3 different colors. Oh often I will often put a Shirt on top of it so I get multiple outfits out of the 1 dress. An addition, I always bring my black we're cardigan. It's warm, it packs down really small. I also always color coordinate, bringing black, white, maybe charcoal gray, along with 1 other color. Finally, I always bring a selection of scarves of various weights.

I’ve just found your channel. Not too many that cater to Gen X, so it’s refreshing to have found you. Anyhow, one comment about your wardrobe for the long weekend: I don’t think I would have brought that many trousers because I would have worn one several times and had one in my carry on as the extra pair. I felt that four pairs of trousers was a bit too much. For a week away I only pack one pair and wear another. Of course, that’s me and my European ways 😉
I agree! I’m working on my overpacking 😊. I will say that particular weekend we had an extreme change in weather and I knew we were going to be outside most of the time so I was trying to cover my bases!

I make sure all my tops match my bottoms. Love my merino black v~neck shirt! Can wear it multiple times with different scarves or jewelry
A good v-neck black shirt is a staple every woman should have!!
