Young Royals is by far one of the greatest lgbtq+ series I have ever seen and I’ve seen a lot. I’m just pissed that this show could potentially be one those underrated gems that don’t get enough recognition. These two actors are so phenomenal and so young as well. They have such bright futures ❤️
I never got the impression that Wille was in denial or didn’t know how he felt. He’s just stuck on what is considered acceptable for someone who is a prince in line for the throne. All the pressures of the hereditary monarchy, to marry a woman and pop out new heirs… And living in a constant spotlight.
I feel like it's the producing an heir that would be the biggest issue here in Sweden, and of course being in an international spotlight. Even though we're pretty progressive here we're not completely rid of bigots. But I'm glad that our actual royal family are allies and society have come a long way since the 50s when it came out that out former King Gustaf V had relations with other men. The Crown Princess opened last years digital pride parade for example. :)
Erik was such a great brother. I definitely think he would've accepted and supported them and tried to help them live their truth while Wille upholds his royal duties.
Auguts lied his mother was out of town as an excuse to why she hadn't paid the money Also I feel like Erik kinda knew Wilhelm was gay before he did because he used non-gender specific language towards his crush and I feel like most people would just assume it were a girl especially since he's royalty so like Erik been knew this information Edit: Here I am using gay to mean that Wilhelm isn't straight not that he only likes boys or identitfies in this way because he has no label as of now and this is valid
