You're glass paintings inspired me to start doing them! I too find it soo therapeutic to just zone out and paint. I've started making a couple time lapse and anime glass painting videos myself! It's so fun!
I really like the brush strokes with this. It makes it look more like a sword. I also really like how theres a bit of depth to it because its painted on the other side, and it looks like she's behind the sword. Definitely unintentional touches, but they look very intentional and it looks really good!!!
I like the light heartedness of these channels.

Glass painting is a beautiful but difficult art form to grasp yet she makes it look effortless. Such a sweet person too. I love Mulan too. Thankyou for sharing your wonderful talents with us.

You did a phenomenal job. And I really enjoyed watching the way you paint because it's very relaxing and it partners well with your upbeat personality. I did have 1 small suggestion though and this is just a hint that may help you achieve a certain artistic effect to match your original vision in the future. The next time you use that paint if you take the time to find the 3 smoothest nail art/manicure buffers available and, once the paint has completely dried; you start with the roughest of the three and buff the entire silver paint surface before going to the second roughest and so on: Your end result should resemble something tangibly similar to a mirror or at worst, the highly reflective plastic abominations they tried to pass off as school locker mirrors. Hope you can use that. Oh, and once that's completely dry (I feel like you already know this but), you should always finish painted artworks, any paint style for the most part, by applying a clear coat with brush or spray. Whichever you prefer really. After this you are going to have to buff the silver to refresh the shine again, but it's so worth it to preserve something this good in which you put so much into, ya know? 😊 Toodles n TTFN whohoohoohoohooo

I have a little tips for you minori! To reduce brush marks you have to do it vertically then horizontally, we use this technique in my studies to make surfaces without textures and backgrounds. Just vertically (or horizontally), it leaves marks c:

The brush strokes on the mirror paint makes it look like a sword texture so it turned out good at your favour~
the mirror paint kinda brought me back to the song reflection which is obviously in the actual mulan movie since you can see your reflection in the paint.

Looking at the dented apple, I kept thinking you could paint it to look bitten or add modelling clay to make it look like a worm is coming out of it :)

I think you should use maybe a sponge brush for the miror pant. It might work to make it smoother and less brush strokes.
Great video! Another idea could be Alice through the Looking Glass, or the mirror scene from Snow White. For objects, a painted doll house might be neat. Cheers and take care. 🖌️

Cool medium to create Art Minori ! I have been taping up whole mirrors and drawing on them , cutting out the pencil lines and then sandblasting , then pealling off masking tape to reveal drawing for years! Glad is a neat medium to work with.
Have done many automotive side glass designs with a metal engraver too, creates some neat effects.

This technique you are doing is exactly what art departments in animation studios used to do when they still used cels for their animation! You mentioned the use of different colors for lines in Disney animation and how Japanese animation only uses black. It wasn't something Disney did often. They first started doing this for Sleeping beauty. The reason it wasn't done as much was because it was very expensive and time consuming. Japanese animation studios have had projects that used different colored line art before too, but probably only on high budget projects. Different line art colors meant more paints (and sometimes more colors) the art department needed to use to ink and more time to do it properly. Today that kind of thing is much easier to do since it's all digital. (I'm really passionate about animation, so sorry for the rant ha ha)

I immediately thought of Snow White when she painted the apple with the mirror paint. Like the Evil Queen with a mirrored apple instead of the poison one. I love the way the Mulan painting turned out. That mirror paint is really interesting and I think from the same company as the black paint 3.0 which is supposed to be the blackest black paint ever.

The brushed side of the glass/plexi looks pretty good, but the other side will be a near perfect mirror!
The stuff works best as a back-surface coating.
Two or three coats will block all light from shining through.
A thin coat is translucent and can be back-lit for special effects.
Like a magic-mirror!
