Here's an idea for watering the track!
Get a plastic 55 gallon drum and make a trailer to bolt it onto. Then, make an attachment for water to spill off of and a manual switch to stop the flow. Pull it behind the Kubota, and give it a try! Can't wait for race day!

For water: some large garbage cans have a hose connection on the bottom. Grab a pickup truck, two large garbage cans, and a hose. We used to put them in a mini van, but gotta check gallon to weight limit.

I think it was 1986 when I was in NC for a BMX race where they built the track inside Charlotte Motor Speedway. It was made out of that North Carolina clay and by the end of the weekend that track was slick with rubber from our tires. Great memories from that weekend.

Use old tires and chain them together and drag the tires it will help you with gain rubber to the track and will better the track grip wise. To water a track you could use a pull behind water tank for a watering system or get an old farmersudical bin us pvc pipe and cut some holes in it

Time to hit the hardware store for an in-ground sprinkler set. That way John won't break off a sprinkler head when (not if) he crashes! Try sourcing a water tank on a skid or trailer that could be hooked up to the system so you don't have to plumb all the way to it.

A suggestion for irrigation... Get one of those plastic totes with the aluminum cages around it. It will have a 2' valve down at the bottom. then get a piece of 2' pvc pipe, say 6" long, and drill a series of 1/8' holes. Cap one end and connect the other to the tote.Set it in the back of a truck, with the tail gate off. Fill with water... . Irrigation truck...

Hey here is a tip for the watering system, salt.
You could put it in a water tank thingie that you use to water the track or simply spread it before watering,
makes the soil retain moisture longer and kinda clumps things better.
I use seawater all the time in a 1000L tank or two to do just this.
A 200L (50gallon) barrel with a pipe with some holes in it, in the bucket of the Kubota maybe?

  • @buckykattguitar

Pvc pipe, some brass nozzles and a water tank with pump on a trailer or on the tractor. I built one to keep dust down in the riding arena at the barn I used to run.

track watering system, 55G drum, water pump, and a lawn sprinkler, on a trailer should so the trick. fill the drum up from the pond tow it to the track turn on the pump and let the sprinkler do its thing while driving around the track

Mount some axles half ones on a piece of PVC pipe a big one plug the ends drill holes in it put a line from a water tank of some sort and it will gravity feed with a line down to the PVC pipe if you hook it up right and pulled around with the Kubota that should work fine!✌️

Charles doing what i have many times told you Guys, use a Fence or wooden pallet's or make a wooden triangle, where is a metal edges to push materials away, & put alot weights on it & pull it in tractor or car to get ground level & to make mud places less muddie, exsample in forest section where is alot mud pull it level & put Gravel on those pit's & you can dig a ditch on the right side of the road, so the water goes along the ditch to the right place so you can somehow keep the road out of the mud and water.

Wear a respirator and send it haha. Sprinklers would help but I assume no water out there. If the creek is nearby you could run a hose from it to a 12v marine pump + car battery. I have one on the boat and it puts out some decent pressure. The dust bowl 500 might end up being the mud bog 100 if it rains.

A few 50 plastic drums in the bucket or on the back of the Tractor filled with water and some holes in the bottom should be able to water the track. You can add some spickets or some kind of ball valves to regulate the flow. Maybe even solder a piece of flattened copper pipe to spread it out. An old sprinkler may work as well. Just dont weigh down the bucket 2 much. Im sure just the bucket will work as well but will be hard to get a good sprinkle

Durango has sludge in the pickup tube from previous owners not changing the oil enough AND dodge welded a nut inside the oil pan for the oil plug to screw into that doesnt let the sludge drain when the oil does get changed. Drop the pan, clean the sludge out of the pickup tube and the pan. It should be fine after that.

Hey fellas your show is great. I’ve seen Ike talking about the six in his chev. If it’s the donk I think it is 500hp is entirely possible. In Australia we only had 202ci we called it the Holden red motor. I highly recommend you look up “Numnuts” HR Ute Burnout.
Then look for it at the “Summer Nats” Also you will see the same basic engine in what we call a XU1 Torana. Look and learn son✌️

I'd use the claws on your scrapper box to get below level og the ground then wet it and smooth it down then drag it and wet it again.
