🙈 oops! That’s the one I meant to recommend 😂 well the series anyway, thanks for letting me know! (I obviously wasn’t paying attention when I was editing 😂)
I get that, I’ve found it great to try out new authors I’m unsure I’ll like or new genres I’m not usually into (or to have the ebook copy of a physical book I have). I have actually ended up buying the book a few times after reading on KU as well- the author always gets a better deal from it that way too!
@@Booksandmoe I just don’t read enough KU books to justify the subscription. Most books I read are not available in KU anyways. Plus I need the money for a VR fitness subscription lol
I started using KU (on my computer and phone) in February this year, and I definitely think it's worth it. It's allowed me to find some new reads (the "Black Girls Must Die Exhausted" trilogy, "Honey & Spice" by Bolu Babalola, as well as Carissa Broadbent's books) and also give some traditionally published books a chance (most recently being "Belladonna"). My main gripe with it is that KU's search filters aren't thorough enough; I keep getting recommended Dark Romance, hard romantasy (spice is NOT my thing in books), and others of that type when I'm looking for something a bit different in the fantasy genre. So I have to weed through sometimes 3 pages of books I'm uninterested in before I find 1 book I want to read.
Oh this is actually so true!!! It’s very difficult to filter even by genre because sometimes they will have things in Sci-Fi rather than fantasy or romance etc and it’s so annoying! They really need to work on that! I do love how many indie authors I’ve found through KU as well as trad published authors who I maybe was wary of trying but ended up loving (the poppy war being one of them) 💕
@@Booksandmoe Exactly! And sometimes I'll be looking for a YA read, and I come across so many books that I KNOW aren't YA, and it just makes me wonder what Amazon uses to filter/organize these books?
Your descriptions of these books are incredible! Like perfectly set it up without any spoilers ❤❤
Thank you! Its something I do struggle with, wondering if I’ve said enough to even make sense 😂 so I really appreciate that! 💕
One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns have been on my TBR forever!! Moving further up after watching this!
It’s a great read for this time of year as well! Very dark and moody atmosphere! Can’t wait to see what you think! 💕
L J Andrew’s is one of my favourites, her new series carries on from the Curse of Shadows series and is also great
Right! I loved the curse of shadows series so really excited to jump into the Ever King soon! So glad she’s getting the hype she deserves atm 💕
2 twisted crowns is book 2 in a series, one dark window is the first

I just cancelled my Kindle Unlimited - I would rather just buy a book every month and keep it forever!
