This song has inspired me to write a song about my friend who passed away a little over ago. I feel the emotion these guys have.
Even if David is sick, he sounds really good and his voice at this moment goes very well with the song and Kyle's voice is beautiful. So that's beautiful and tearful..
@Mominaodiji They wrote this song for their friend that died late last year, his voice is supposed to have an emotional sound to it.
I seriously gained so much respect for this band. This song is so good. I have never liked them till now. This song is awesome with an awesome meaning.

It's sad because David is still getting hate for this today. Poor David, he was probably not feeling well and his voice was most likely gone. I love David so much and I hope the hate eventually goes away. He (and Kyle) worked very hard on this and I think if you guys were true fans, you would like them no matter the quality of the song and/or their voices.

This's so heartbreaking, beautiful version of already amazing song, and I can't wait to get to play this by myself. He's not sick. He's sad. He's trying to hard not to cry, and it's making his voice choke. Kyle was looking down the whole time. They were extremely sad
I'm a very good singer and I personally like David's voice because it's not mainstream. He has a unique singing voice and that's what I find intriguing.

Please take the time to listen and feel this song. It's one of the hardest experiences I've gone through and still deal with everyday. I know all of Lauren's friends feel the same way. actually if you watch them live in any other video, David is actually very very talented. i'm not sure if in this video hes just sick, or extremely emotional, but hes much much better than this. they're both extremely talented.

It's an emotional song, so that's part of the reason they're so rough. Plus, it's their first acoustic, and he clearly sounds sick even talking. Give them a break before you just call them horrible.
