New YouVersion Exec Nona Jones Tackles Bible Illiteracy: 'Seek Intimacy with God Every Day'

For nearly six years Nona Jones reached millions in the digital world through her role as head of Facebook’s Faith-based Partnership Outreach.
But in 2022, Jones felt God calling her to a new mission.
“When I celebrated my fifth anniversary I had a moment of introspection,” Jones told CBN News. “I was like ‘Lord, you’ve allowed me to meet some incredible people, to learn some amazing things and to do things I never would have imagined through the work that I did at the company.'”

I am new to using the app. Who checks the content? One of the first Bible plans I found is by Kevin Olusola (Pentatonix) who is a Mormon. Not a Christian.
For all this great work you are doing, this kind if thing really undermines the trustworthiness of the app.

🕊️Thank you for You-version, can you Ms Jones 🙏 please add the weekly Bible portion called parasha in English and Spanish please? Is hard to find the books with that order of events by date. Pastor Mark Biltz have the Old Testament and the New Testament that relates one with another for the weekly portion parashat, only like that we can read the current monthly events from new moon to new moon celebrations genesis 1:14. the community of Hebrew studies in Spanish is growing by the thousands and looking where to find the weekly Torah portion 🤍🤎I’m glad I got to meet the lady behind you versión app, I constantly share that app for years now. Just don't clutter up the app more than it already is. The app is getting too busy these days. For example, why is "Home" on the left? Why not "Bible"? When I open the app I don't want to do anything but read the Bible. Too many selections detract from a focus on reading the Bible which is exactly what you said you're trying to do per the interview. Somehow, getting to reading the Bible needs to be found easily, bold and in your face; not some selection at the bottom that's second from the left
