うつくしま浜街道とは
　東北地方南部に位置し、太平洋に面する福島県。
　その風光明媚な海岸線から、緑豊かな阿武隈高原にかけての地域を「浜通り」と呼びます。
　浜通りは古くから、内陸を進む奥州街道と並び、水戸を経由して海岸線を進む「陸前浜街道」として、江戸と仙台を結ぶ極めて重要なルートに位置しております。
　そして今、訪れる人々に感動を与える地「うつくしま浜街道」として、皆様を心よりお待ちしております。

The Utsukushima Hamakaido refers to the part of Fukushima facing the Pacific Ocean, located in Southern Tohoku region. This area, from its scenic coastline, to the lush Abukuma Plateau is called “Hamadori”.
Hamadori is located along the Rikuzen Hamakaido, which long ago served as an important trading route between Edo and Sendai - running through the city of Mito, parallel to the inland Oshu Kaido.
Today, it exists as the Utsukushima Hamakaido, inspiring awe among all those who visit it.
