There's a red sliding switch on the left side when door is open. You have to pull it to the right to open the notched area the basket ends set in. The basket tool is used to remove hot basket, must hold the red switch until the basket is free of the notched grooves.

I just received mine today. I got the English and Spanish manuals. The 1st thing it says to do is take all parts out of the oven and unwrap. Make sure no packaging is left inside and run empty at the highest temp (400 degrees) for 20 minutes. I did that and I still smell plastic. I am going to do it again tomorrow. Then you are good to go. Sorry you didn't get any recipes.
My daughter just brought one and at 1 min she gets a E1 error anyone know if its fixable as she threw her box away. she not had chance to use it cause of the error
Thks for d review. Pls can u try baking a cake or something in this oven. It claims it's bakes but there is no heating elements on d bottom only on d top. I'm afraid d bottom of the cake will not be done n brown like a cake should.
Yea. Almost all air fryers are noisy. It's worth the money. It's hard to find one this big for this price. Get the extended warranty. I always get the extended warranty with any electronics.
It says in manual for fries roasted nuts or snacks that require shaking or tumbling during the cooking process. But I'm definitely going to put wings in there cuz I know that by moving them around their fully cooked all the way.
Microshark79 Have you tried the wings yet? That was my main purpose in getting one of these but no where in the books does it say you can put wings in there. Unless I just missed that part.
It comes with a factory warranty from Faberware for a year but do yourself a favor like I did get the extended warranty from Walmart so there's no questions asked if something happens.

it says in the cooking manual that you can Spritz a little bit of oil on what you're cooking and it's quite okay I would not go crazy and completely submerged what you're cooking with oil though.

I know the basket it better, but like I said, not to mention the fact that I will have to cook A LOT more for my husband who wears 29 x 34 jeans. He always eats like it's his last meal. HA
I just got mine yesterday my farberware 6 quart air fryer, and I have to say I cooked chicken today without anything on them just salt and pepper and I did I cut up real potatoes kind of big but like a french fry and I have to tell you everything was perfect and it Cooks so fast I was really surprised. The other thing I would like to say is I ordered a Paula Deen a few weeks back and I had to return it , it sounded like a Mack truck the door was loose and it was terrible and it was $139 plus tax and insurance was more. So anyone who's looking at this air fryer run out and get it before it's gone it is just amazing. Thank you. I did not use the basket for the fries and they came out beautiful so not to worry about the.
When using the racks it’s good to stop 1/2 way and change the top to the bottom. Since the top is closer it will brown faster

What are the outside dimensions of this Air Fryer Oven? It looks like a cube, I wonder how much room will it take on my counter top.

I had a really hard time taking the basket out. Did you have that problem?
It comes with the tool to remote the basket. The red thing on the left side of the door pulls back to release and attach the basket. Good luck!

The trays a metal with a Teflon coat. The rotisory basket is a stainless steel.

Other than the price and brand, what is the differences between Farberware air fryer oven and Power air fryer oven.
Power air fryer oven has more rotisserie options. Also there's a 6qt and 8qt.
I looked at the power air oven in the store and the buttons were already broken. I would try this one. The price right now is amazing!

It has a 2 yr warranty from Farberware, and for $7.00, I added a 5 yr extended warranty on thru Walmart.
