Wow... Preparation is the TOP priority... Best of luck to You and the Team... Great airplane, and amazingly made ready to fly even under such extreme conditions!

Thank you for letting me know. Love the Turbo Commander, have a few hundred hours in a few models. You picked a great plane.

Are the extended wings on all the Commanders?

I’d figure the last thing I’d want on such a trip is a “entirely new design propeller”.

Its not new for him. the MTV-27 has been around for several years. Dr. Albrecht says before 2007, but I think that was their first STC. The rest of the video; you can decide what's hyperbole for yourselves.

Will there be in flight videos? I wanna watch!

I completely understand, but mounting some Gopros and audio hookups would make this trip even more epic and allow all of us to "go with him" which I think would be to his benefit.

This never happened! You all think this was a fake?

Maybe i missed it, but wouldn't you want to use INS for this type of route?

      INS is way too inaccurate

    40% what?

INS is way less accurate than GPS. Got thousands of hours using INS and trust me, you would never use it for any kind of navigation anymore.

    "GPS systems" No.
