Wow, so much $$ for the house, then $700/mo. Lot rent, plus property taxes and insurance. No thanks. I pay $830/ month for a 1200 sq. Ft. house on almost an acre, with a Huge 2 car garage, and I'm only 45 minutes from Atlanta. That price includes property tax and homeowners insurance.

The total costs could be prohibitive compared to other housing options. Your current housing situation sounds like a great value for the space and amenities you get.

I found one to buy for $32,000, fully furnished. Mini split and all stainless appliances. Literally anything everything one could need or want. Nearly bought it. But like you, no garage, lot rental, etc. minimal electric bill because fully stocked solar source. And very little property tax since it's rated like a camper trailer. Overall though, just doesn't make since. I'm a common since gal.
You're bragging about 1200 sq. ft. but people sometimes want to downsize so their upkeep is minimal.
Love it. But I'd switch the places of the stove and fridge for better work flow. Very comfortable looking place
The layout could be more functional with a stove fridge swap, but it's indeed cozy.
How does a person get a mattress & box spring .. or dresser etc up those narrow stairs ??

I could live in a tiny home only if I was able to stand up in my bedroom and a regular toilet hooked up to sewer or septic
Also they are situated in a park,very much like mfgd homes ..rent can be raised every year! Better placed on your own land

Wood burning stoves do require a bit of upkeep, but for many, the cozy warmth they provide makes it all worth it! 😊

There is no sprinkler system and no smoke alarm to most important items.😢

Whoever priced this TINY home should be slapped!! This thing is gonna be parked in a field or someone's yard, not the upper east side!! You can get a manufactured home for this price and get like 1000 sq feet added to that piddly 272 or whatever. The tiny movement is supposed to offer financial freedom not whatever this is offering.
The tiny house movement is indeed about offering financial freedom and innovative living solutions. Hopefully, you'll find a better match that fits your vision and budget.
