Dear Christine, I hope you're doing well! Thank you very much for this very complete and interesting vidéo. All those hats and 30s ladies were so gorgeous, so stylish!!! Hats look great on you! It suits you so well ❤😊 Matilda from France.
What a beauty! I love your collection of vintage hats and how you wear them! What beautiful photos you have chosen for this video! I watched and admired. What a pity that now women rarely wear hats, it is so beautiful, I especially like the veil. Looking forward to your fashion history videos, dear Christine ❤️ You look gorgeous 🥰
Awesome video Christine! I wear lots of berets in the fall & winter. I also love wearing cloche hats too. In the movie The Changling you can see lots of lovely cloche hats worn by Angelina Jolie. Great biography movie if you or audience haven't seen. Much love to you! ❤
I love pretty much all historical & vintage fashions, but the more I learn about it all, the more I realize that the 30s is quickly becoming my favorite! Another great and informative video!
Thanks girl! I’ve got to say I learned a new thing or two in your video. Usually I can just tell what hats are 1920s vs 1930s vs 1940s but you shared some hat names in this video that I actually didn’t know! Very good to know super informative thank you ❤️🙏🏽
I love making cloches because I can use the fabric from my dresses but I'd love to get some patterns for more styles - the original magazine patterns are like "here are some pieces - not to scale - and we left out the instructions...and, voila! You're hat will look like this!
I have just discovered your channel and really enjoyed this video. I am a vintage fan. I do a number of crafts professionally, butI thought I wouldn't be able to master milinary. A couple of channels have inspired me to have a go. I am at the "completely useless, all fingers and thumb" stage, but I know that being clutzy at first is all part of the process of learning a craft. At least, I hope that is what it is...😂 Anyhoo, I have subscribed and really look forward to watching more of your videos.
Thank you for all your amazing videos! I am currently in the process of renovating my 1940’s house back to its original splendor. Do you have any book suggestions on 40’s home design. Have you made any videos on this subject? Thank you and please remain awesome 😊
merci pour cette vidéo et grâce à la traduction je comprends ce que vous dîtes .Et ses chapeux vous vont très bien .(( question est-ce que vous les faites faire belle soirée ))
Any suggestions on where to buy hats? Lots of dealers on etsy. I really want to wear more everyday hats esp in winter. I don;t want a fedora but like a trilby or peaked homburg.
I love this! Give me all the vintage hat content
I’ll do another video for 1940s hats as well, so stay tuned for that.
Love your show ♡
Love cloche hats!
I collect vintage hats! I have a hat box too. Thanks for the video. Now im going to look at my hats and figure out what they are
I’m such a cliche and fedora gal, but I’ve got to try knitting a 30s hat!
This was great! Thank you.❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love all the hats, especially the turbans!❤

Oooh how I wish I knew how to knit. I'd have one for every outfit! #bringhatsback
I think a fun hat would be a really fun project to learn how to knit.

I buy a lot of hats on Etsy and eBay. If you check out my first hat video from a few years ago, I list some of my favorite hat sellers with links.
My favorite hat is one I cannot find a name for. Similar to a cloche hat but has little to no brim on the back with flared brim front and sides, ?..
I think I know the hat style you mean. I love old movies and I'm sure I've seen this hat. I have no idea what it's called, but it really is lovely.
What would the 35 cent hat cost today? Anybody know?
About $6 or $7
@@TheGlambassador thanks!
@@Kitty.Nocturne my pleasure!
