Given that England has stunk out the tournament so far, whilst the Swiss have impressed, I am struggling to see how England can beat the Swiss.
The same way they beat Slovakia. Keep the score tight and get goals based on individual efforts

Actually the unfit, out of form, un-droppable Kane is the problem. The tournament dreams of many teams are often shattered by the folly of the talisman syndrome..Kane, Ronaldo, Lukaku, Modric and Eriksen to name but a few.

Nobody should be blaming Trippier. He's been put in an awkward situation. You don't go into a tournement where your wingbacks are pivital especially as Foden who is playing on lthe left doesn't provide any natural width and your only left sided player is injured. Garath has brought this on himself and has messed up the team through his selection and (lack of) tactics. I firmly believe we have a decent set of players but he's not picked a team and formation that performs well and that's completely down to him ballsing things up.

And at the beginning of extra time it's = that lasted for 52 seconds. Slovakia just had their best game ever and parked the bus. Germany didn't do any better vs Denmark either. @@WilliamJones-hc7ff No not really, it's quite a common expression of over exaggation used by the young generation which he's obviously picked up on. For example "I saw Ricky Gervais and I literally died" meaning they died of laughter because he was so funny. This type of over expression is definately not a language issue.

England have been awful. But I think a change of formation playing 3 at the back with 2 Wing backs. I am expecting a better performance to win this game with their experience. In the world cup they pushed the french so providing SG starts using his brain and his bench in time. England will have far too much ammo for the swiss so I expect Englsnd to win. England 2-1😮
