Useless information as always, but it was called Puzzle Bobble in Japan, but renamed Bust a Move for the US Market. It IS based off of Bubble Bobble, which actually had multiple sequels including on called Parasol Stars.

Oh yeah this game is 10000% going to take up my entire day when I find it. I remember when iPads first came out a local car dealership had you play this game through some link on Facebook and the top idk 15 people were invited out for like a drawing and the winner got an iPad. Kinda a scheme to get you to look at their cars but my dad’s girlfriend got an iPad! I’ve downloaded these kind of bubble games on my phone before but I get to the last level so fast 😂
That's so cool!! Yeah this kinda game has been ported and remade a billion different times, so it came to us pretty easy. My first go around with this type of game was Neopets.... Faerie Bubbles or something...
What better way to celebrate my 35th year of gaming with a Bust-A-Move video, because I use to play Puzzle Bobble 3 at Aladdin's Castle and now I can play Puzzle Bobble 4 on the MAME arcade emulator. Oh, and congrats on winning the 500 ticket bonus!

Looks like such a fun game - there's a Round 1 a hour and a half to 2 hours away from me that might have one, but I've never been there, so I'm not even sure they'd even have it. Bust-A-Move/Puzzle Bobble is one of my favorite retro arcade games so I hope one of my arcades get this game soon! Great video!
I've played the Arcade game as a kid and I was in love with it.

I've played this at my local Round1. This is tougher than Space Invaders Frenzy. People at my local knocked it up to 90k points to win. Someone for some reason got 130k.

BAM looks like a good upgrade to Space Invaders Frenzy. Hopefully it won't have unattainable high scores.
My friend is so protective of this game that it made me want to search it up more because I felt this could be another game I could AP. Now I figure out the key thing is to get those big 10k combos which he likely was trying to hide from me.
I just wonder if the score goes up at this Round1 because most Space Invaders at Round1 will go up to 90k score which is like almost not possible to beat.

You can use those spikey wheels to get an easy 10k. As long as you angle where it hits the wall and the balls have nothing yo hang on.
