Dont forget to always fill your item up with innocents! When you dupe the item you also dupe the innocents on it, so you can cut the work of farming many 50k dual stat boosting innocents if you keep them on your item. Other innocents are usually easier to get alredy capped when having one 50k together at the farm. A Firefighter 1 + Sentry 50k can make a Firefighter 100 for example (or another weaker Sentry).
A time saving tip for clearing item world floors with the sage is to let her learn the nine tail fox overdrive, which gives you and additional shot at all enemies on that floor, plus it won't use any mana. Just need to ensure her revenge gauge fills quickly by equipping both weapon slots with nether research lv 40 staffs.
Thank you very much for the guide! I've heard and read about all sorts of guides on how to level a Trap, but having all the information in one video is very helpful.
A quite late comment but i would add something to your vid. As supports for the land decimator sage i use : Another sage for the extra hit (like you do) Christo (obviously for his accuracy bonus like you do) Pleinair (+10% Stats bonus for all allies, since violence and the royal boar evilities gives +89% stats together it makes it near the cap) Mao ( +20% dmg bonus for allies within 2 tiles AND +20%dmg received for enemies within 2 tiles) which mean an enemy thrown near your sage will make him take 40% more damages !
You don't need Pleinair, switch her with maid. you cap stats with violence and greedy disposition (50%+39%) while your characters in a filled maxed Lvl Foot Soldier Squad(+20%) that's (+109%). He is already over the cap by 9% stats
Right, then. I think, I am going to have to start a new Trap. Because I have a level 500 one I've enabled to go over level 500 and things are getting too tough.
So in 5, skipping floors and only killing bosses isn't the optimal strategy for leveling gear eh? Also it seems like item world is infinite now... like you can go way past what you need. Can you also rename items at will? And what about that neat feature they added in Disgaea 3 Portable where you can apply a different weapon's sprite to your weapon to make all your guys SEEM to be packing individual weapons?
Actually, skipping floors and only killing Bosses was a strat I employed here, to levelup Training Bonus (which increases the item's base stats, especially HP). Otherwise, yes, you need to basically murder everything to get the item to lv500 (or beyond maybe). You absolutely can re-name items and give weapons a different sprite in this game!
This all seems much more complicated than the past games. However judging by how the thing is maxed out and in like floor 1900s it seems like if your patient enough there's no way you can fuck it up like you could in Disgaea 3 or 4.
The Thief would have to "kill" Carnage Void Dark. And by kill, that can mean starting a Team Attack or Tower Attack with some very overpowered teamates that can do the actual damage. I made 1 or 2 videos on how to do this.
Mostly personal pref. Since my sage was a bit weaker, i used some dual giant magichange to up the damage a bit. I gave her the pirate's and nether noble's evilities. Equiped a twin dragon, nine tailed fox, usalia and a nekomata. Instead of the prof, Christo ran her evility and did the buff and I threw in another maid using trick light. I plan to to get some classes done for he 3 magichanged monsters and reincarnate them into better generics later. I should probably start getting the third unique evility on everyone
14:22 isn't better to pass the assembly to make item lv up higher than 500 or go to item world with capped item just like what you did? my trap is at lv 500 with 800k stats, if i go inside the item world, will it increase all stats or just HP?
Passing that bill let's items go upto lv9999. Also let's kill bonus go upto 500 (or 550?). However, the item will only be like 20% stronger then a lv500 item with max kill bonus and max training bonus. And it will take a LOT of grinding to max out a lv9999 item. It's not really worth it. As 3 sets of hardcapped lv500 items is perfectly capable of maxing your stats anyways. The extra HP you could get wouldn't make a difference either.
Do we need to worry about passing item bills for stat growth? And should we prepare the eight 50,000 Dieticians ahead of time? Is 2,000,980 the stat cap for a single Trape? I worry about screwing up the maximization of Training Bonus.
Items bills just speed up the process a bit, but aren't needed at all. The eight 50k Dieticians aren't needed either (but do speed it up a bit). There's nothing you can do to permanently screw up.
So, even if I don't pass bills or use innocents, I should always end up with a 400M HP, 2M Stats, 100 RARE, Level 500, 4 move, 26 jump Trape, right? And the movement bonus is a result of Training Bonus, ye?
Help, I can't find a Carnage Yoshitsuna at all, I've climbed hundreds of floors in the IW of carnage items, and so far nothing. I am looking for a YOsH to be able to get the Baal Sword and consequently the Carnage Catastrophe. But this damn YOsH doesn't appear on IW Carnage. The status of my Killia is at lv9999, 12 reincarnations and 17 million statuses.
Im currently playing Disgaea 5 complete on the switch and I have a quick question or two. For your floor clearing sage, if all the enemies are 9999 like her, what unique evility would be a good substitute for Bullying? and can you have more than 1 Unique Innocent on an item? like say I wanted to "put" cat burglar on the megaphone with hostage negotiator
I believe each item can only have 1 Unique Innocent on it. So no Kat Burglar and Hostage Negotiate on 1 item. It would be awesome though! I would love to fill the offhand weapon with awesome Unique Innocents lol. Too Bad
Well I thoroughly enjoyed this video, even though I've been playing for around 3 days and have characters around level 300. Still it is something I'll keep in mind when I'm trying to figure out how the fuck innocents and item world actually works.
+DirEnGay Innocents are easy enough. Once you find and kill an Innocent in the item world, you can move it to another item with the Innocent Shop. I made a guide on how to use the Innocent Ranch, so you can grow your 900 Statistician and levelup much faster. Item leveling (to the degree shown in this video) is best done late in the postgame. Actually, if you're not leveling a Carnage version of a rank40 equipment, you're basically wasting your time. Plenty of other reasons to go into the Item World anyways. Like subduing innocents, and completing certain quests.
I havn't tried a non Sicily tank build, but I'm sure it's more then feasible without her. Sicily wasn't getting hit for much of her HP ever. Another character trying that build shouldn't take much more damage. Also typically, in the Item World, you'll probably never be tanking more then 3 enemies at once. Just pick a character or class with good innate resistances (especially Star resistance).
So, how can you find out where you are on kill bonus and training bonus? Do you just have to write down your progress every time you leave the item? Should you simply not leave the item till you kill enough?
+Jillian Nitz Kill Bonus is shown when you Exit the Item World. Training Bonus isn't shown (it varies among stats and items). But you'll know it's capped when it stops going up. You can also increase Training Bonus for a stat at the Item Assembly. And if the bill to increase a certain stat is greyed out, then that means that Training Bonus is capped for that stat.
+MrEvilbyte Thank you this is super helpful. I originally had no idea about training and kill bonus and leveled a trap up to level 2200 on 0 star. I maxed the training bonus without knowing what it was but my kill bonus is only 33 in 900 floors. At that level the enemies are not really any harder on 20 star then 0 star. I have a couple more questions maybe you can answer. I stared a new trap and am working on kill bonus, i'm at about 220. and it has been level 500 for a while. Is there a benefit to clearing the whole floor or is it fine to kill 90% of the floor and just run to the gate since that saves a lot of time? Also is there a reason not to raise the level of the item past 500? I see in your video you do not, but wouldn't you still get minor increases if you did, or does that not happen?
I don't increase item level for 2 reasons... 1. Enemy Stats continue to increase, making them harder to kill. 2. It simply isn't needed to max stats, at all. Each Item is only allowed to give upto 10 Million in stats on a given char (NIS and their stupid caps!). A char with about 285% aptitudes and 100 Armor Mastery will get the full 10Mil stats from a maxed lv500 Trap.
+MrEvilbyte Thank you, I finally maxed a trap today with a lot of help from your guide. Managed to max the training bonus by about floor 1700, I think the kill bonus maxed at somewhere around 700. I had it set to invader route and had some of my characters in the squads that made it more likely to get rooms and was killing the easier boss rooms as I went. Very glad to have that part done, now for the very long dupe grind.
Hey may I know what's the curry recipe you are using? I've seen people adding elixirs as main and sub ingredients, but they also add a lot more along with the timble. So I'm wondering how many is enough? Thx :D Great guide btw.
Regarding the kill bonus, how long would it take to cap that? I'm in the middle of capping the KB on Invincible, already level 500, and have 8 50k Snipers on it, also with the training bonus, isn't it best to have explorers on whilst skipping 5 floors at a time? Gives a chance of a room that increases the training bonus as well
+Krispygee19 Most Mystery Room battles are more tedious then simply zerging IW Bosses. Though if you want to dupe your Item as you're leveling it up, it's a good idea. Kill Bonus takes about .... eh, 400 or 500 floors to cap, I think. Your Item will hit lv500 before it finishes. Just turn on the Invader route, cause Invaders count towards Kill Bonus (and Training Bonus too).
Those evilities are like having a bonus multiplier on whatever stat/s you're using to attack (yes, it works on SPD for Fists and INT for spells, should even work on RES for healing). It works before Damage evility multipliers take effect. And THAT happens before Critical damage multipliers take effect. ATK PWR evilities are nice for getting more damage through higher defence enemies. So damage and crit damage multipliers have higher numbers to work with.
@@MrEvilbyte Damn, thanks for the reply! New question though, do you level up the actual land decimator skill at all? I see you have hardly any SP on her, so I wonder if there's any value in having LD be +9 or not?
A nice side effect of the Carnage Elixir curry recipe I had going at the time. It gives high HP (upto 2Billion HP), HP and SP regen, and 100% crit rate. The only disadvantage of this recipe is the HP and SP will actually damage you if you're on Reverse Damage tiles (so just stay off those).
A single Carnage Elixir will give the HP/SP regen effect. You'll need quite a lot to get the 2Billion HP though (somewhere around 180). I probably used like 120 in the recipe I had going at the time.
MrEvilbyte how do ya get a lot of carnage elixirs. Enemies don't have em, ya can't buy them, and all I find with the engiri fluid only gets me bloody maries and mushroom soups so idk
Vendor on every 10th floor in the Item World can randomly sell them (on high rank items). So you can stock up while leveling your item. Also, you can get them from Netherworld Research on Carnage 39/40 netherworlds. A single unit that has about 5Mil in stats can research these worlds by themselves. I like to have 4 or more such units each researching a different netherworld at the same time. All researches will be completed when you clear 10 floors in the item world.
Question! I've used your guide to help me level my sage's ygg, but I am really struggling with tera-ing down proto and item gods, where you seem to take them down in 1 or turns at most- how many times did you boost your spells?
+Noa van Dam It was probably +7 or +8. With Twin Head evility, and Multi Attacker from backup Sage, I can hit Gods with 3 Tera spells in a row. Add in a Maid's Afternoon Tea, and I can use another 3 Tera spells. That takes down pretty much everything that isn't Giant Proto. Your support buffers having Evil Eye and Angel Song evility helps quite a bit. If you have a sturdy Enemy Lure user, you have plenty of time to kill Item Gods anyways. Giant Proto actually IS pretty tough though. Since his Safety evility cancels your critical damage (which is like more then half of your damage). The smaller Proto is cake though.
+MrEvilbyte Also, you do have a 100% critical curry recipe active don't you? If you don't, it's no wonder you are struggling. Curry recipe (or Revenge Mode) is the only way to get a 100% critical rate in this game. A 100 Professional actually effects crit damage in this game. You need both active.
MrEvilbyte I do, yeah! It's also the aoe hits from proto and item gods that make things tough, I'll try to keep my armor knight a bit further away from the rest of the gang.. Thanks for your quick answer, and for this video! It's pretty much been playing here non stop, if only for the excellent music choice.
I know I'mma bit late to be commenting but I seriously need help I've got 10 mill from extracts and I got the 10 mill from subclasses so how else can I raise my stats to get up to 40 mill and beyond
A tank setup should work on almost anybody (since you typically only need to tank an item god, or 2 invaders at most). Just note that someone with higher Star resistance, or higher weapon resists will have an edge. You could also try someone with the Immoveable Verja (sp?) Overload (even if they are underleveled).
I love this guide. Excellent job. However, why on earth would you not duplicate with the intended innocents on it? I would probably fill it with 8 50k hard workers or something before duplicating it.
I know this video was made like 4 years ago.. but for some reason I'm finding myself playing it again, and needed a refresher. :D I've long since forgotten what my main save file was doing last.
Hey, I got a few questions and uncertainties before running the Item World myself (not running Trap, yet). I have read through GameFAQs and I still have some questions after watching the video. 1 - I noticed that you are crawling Invader Route for the Level 500 and Kill Bonus 400. I'm guessing this is the recommended route as soon as you crawl the first 10 Floors and hit Innocent Town? 2 - Is it okay to put any subdued or non-subdued Innocents during the Level 500 and Kill Bonus 400 phase or should I take all Innocents out? 3 - During Training Bonus, I noticed you changed to Normal Route too. I'm guessing this is recommended. Is the Training Bonus tied to the Item Assembly stat up bill? Unrelated question, what is the maximum stat bonus with reincarnation? Great video, thanks for reading.
Kill Bonus is a multiplier on Item stats. It's increased by killing enemies (preferably on higher cheat shop difficulty setting). To 'softcap' an item, you want to get this to 400. You can level up an item without maxing kill bonus, but it's stats won't be as good. But nothing is stopping you from maxing kill bonus later on, since you have infinite floors to work with.
I'm playing the switch version and I've reached a point where kill bonus only increases by about four every ten floors on 20 star difficulty. Am I doing something wrong or is this just extremely tedious?
Nicky Sztybel - I'm with the same question here, but it seens to be that way He mastered his trap. Kill bonus on floor 500, i'm on floor 200 with 250+/- kill bonus right now.
I heard that a Barefoot X is theoretically better because of bonus movement. Can a Barefoot X really also reach these stats, and what would i have to do differently, or additionally to do so?
Yep, a Barefoot X (or pretty much any item) can cap out all stats. You'll need one of every stat raising innocent on the item (except for SPD, which is already high). Then just grind out Training Bonus as usual (it just takes 3x as long).
@@MrEvilbyte Thanks for the response! If you dont mind me asking a little more - why does it take so much longer (due to it having lower base stats or what?) and does that mean it will have much less HP compared to arcadia later on? (due to not being able to put dieticans on the barefoot x)
@@Hoezi02 you should still put dietitians (or the dual stat equivalent, I think its hard worker, but not positive) on barefoot x, it takes longer because the starting base is lower, so it of course takes longer. Trap has high starting stats in all areas.
@@Ravenleaf182 Okay, but ultimately it can get stats that are just as high? Btw in general now - is it better to put dual stat innocents on items when leveling them up or do those not effect each individual stat as much as single stat innocents (in terms of growth)
@@Hoezi02 to my understanding yes, all items seem capable of it. I'm in fact in the process of attempting to max out the DLC's initial weapons (since they are somewhat unique and personalized, albeit very, very, nerfed). If you max a dual stat, it gives you just as much bonus as an individual stat growth one (unlike previous games), again, so I am lead to believe from research, I'm still in the process of getting all my dual stat innocents. The bonus should be the same
My chars didn't have 300% aptitudes (had no gear to use them on at that point anyways). My chars only had 20Mil base stats (boosted to 40Mil via evilities). Leveling weapons is mostly the same, just use innocents to strengthen 0 or negative stats. Apparently leveling Axes is different, and it's impossible to level Carnage Axes (impossible to cancel out the massive negative stats).
MrEvilbyte I only asked because every CD elixir I have found is greatly inferior in hp/sp so it seemed maybe the frog breath might be stronger. Thanks for clearing it up
Hey I got to ask, my trap is lvl 2000 and i already soft capped it and i still have like 50 item gods left to kill (gathering unique innocents) is this normal?
MrEvilbyte alright thank you. But i just need to clarify something, does that mean that I don't absolutely need to get all the unique innocents since i soft capped it? Meaning i don't need to kill anymore item gods? I don't want to hard cap it, I'm just asking for the sake of doing the perfect softcap
If you have tons of Diver 10's to burn, you can get all 46 unique innocents in 2 hours. But you don't need them (though some of them are nice to have).
question i found a weapon in one of the mystery room in the item world but i cant take it, its said im a novice. can you tell me the requirement to get it please and thank you
+victor alvarez Assault Attack. If you move 20 panels, you get +200% Damage! It's the best damage booster in the game. Otherwise, Rage Impact and Anger Charge are highly abuseable vs Baal. He automatically hits you 4 times when coming out of the base. So keep going back in and out, till both gives you +200% ATK Power .... each! Otherwise, just stick Acceleration Shot on your spell casters, and hit distant foes for a lot of extra pain (this is also a better damage booster then most).
+MrEvilbyte Where can I see the kill bonus on the item? And wich Inocence is the best for leveling the stats? I'm already at lvl 500 with the catastroph and I just wana know If I can make it super OP.
+MrEvilbyte I wanna ask this too. If I give an item inocente that gives INT and ATK than those stats will get the boost? Or It doesn't matter If I equipe them or not?
Absolutely. Higher level = less SP cost (upto 90% less SP). And upgrading Land Decimator in the skill shop does increase it's damage (even though it never goes above F rank).
+MrEvilbyte Thank you very much. Cause I don't feel like farming for more Dietician (cap) in order to max out the trap's hp . Well thanks for the tip and videos . You help a lot of people with this . :)
Sage strategies get boring to watch after the first 20 ones you see. I also only use them for the Multi-Attack, though I like her design more than the regular Skulls and Witches, and still prefer the Magic Knight both design-wise as well as gameplay-wise.
Yep. It raises the stats of the enemies, at least upto a certain point (when a high rank item is high level, there is little difference between low star and high star settings). High star setting will always turbocharge how fast kill bonus accumulates. Star setting also has an effect on loot from the bonus list.
MrEvilbyte thanks I’m so dumb I forgot it did I was wondering why my trap got hard out of no where and why it was becoming a hassle to level it up thank you for replying I’m trying to platinum I’m just missing the carnage stage outer but I’m too weak to do it atm any tips or should I just keep going for extracts and lvlinh my trap?
So I know this video is old. But I am playing on Switch and I am lost. How the hell does Sicily have 571M HP? I can only get half. Mine only has 219Million HP and she is getting 1 shot from non LoC Baal and LoC Dark? Am I doing something Wrong? I mimic'ed the evilty loadout. She has 40 Mil Stats... I leveled her up with the 10, 20,40,80 and 100 HP Growth evilties in Elite 4 with Secret Trainer Equipped. What am I doing wrong???? She still feels "soft"
Sicily is supposed to be defending (that's where a lot of the damage reduction comes from, thanks to Advance Guard). Also, Carnage Elixir curry recipe can give a lot of HP (upto 2 Billion). That recipe also gives HP regeneration (it gives 5% regen, which is usually more then enough). I never tested the Damage Cut evility. That with 2Billion HP means she'd potentially take no damage at all.
MrEvilbyte solid, I guess my issue was defending... I wasn’t doing it like an idiot. So tested with the carnage elixirs I see where I was wrong. I was using non LoC Elixers. Thanks for that!
Sorry I have another question, so I have been noticing going through 20* LoC Trap that I feel way under powered. My Sage cannot take on Bank Robbery Mobs, and I really struggle with bosses.. Trap is floor 40 :( My magic knight is in the same boat.... Trying to figure out what needs to change. My Sage is a little different in that she does not use Violence but looks like this: Unstable Power, Mana Scarcity, Purgatory, Eclipse Power, Desperation, Hasty Rush and Ambush, My Magic Knight is the same as yours with the exception of that last spot is filled with Charm Vaccine instead of being empty.... Any suggestions
Make sure your using a 100% critical curry recipe, have a 100 Professional innocent, and have Christo adjacent at all times. Don't bother with the Bank Guards (they have way too much HP). You don't really have to win Mystery Room battles either, as killing item bosses can be done quicker. As for bosses, all you really need is an Enemy Lure user (Sicily being an example). This gives you enough turns to just pummel them with 6x Tera spells each round.
You get Unique Slots by killing the Carnage Prinny Overlord and Carnage Dark. Team Attacks and Tower Attacks count for the unit that initiates such attacks. I just did that with some seriously beefed up teamates xD
@@MrEvilbyte what were the stats of the one who actually killed the boss I have reincarnation stats mostly maxed at 10m and I'm working on my item stats If you explain tbings like this in any of your vids Let me know I only watch your videos when I'm looking for what to do next in any of my disgaea games
@@Marik4295 I have another video (or 2) on killing Carnage Dark. Which any unit with 40Mil stats can replicate. Once you get 10Mil in reincarnation/subclass stats, you get another 10Mil from Extracts/Revenge Shards (either capture 99 Asagi's with Metallia, or capture the Bears on Martial Training 4). From there, it's evilities and/or squads that will push your stats to 40Mil.
@@MrEvilbyte I have reincarnation stats and ahard stats finished on Christo and my sage I am trying to level a few traps before leveling my carnage traps Just so I dont get mashed into a pulp Me and My family moved almost a week ago and we dobt know what box our ps4 controllers are So I can't really continue playing but I'm playing dd2 untill we find them Ive vome across an exploit with the everyone is a bomb setting in the cheat shop to easily level up my items by throwing the enemies but sacrificing a character Is there a chance this works on d5 and if so do you have a video on it so I can see if its as effective as in dd2
You separated the training bonus and the item leveling into do different sections. When going through the leveling of the item, do you ignore bosses until the training bonus phase? Until item level 500 - Ensure 20 stars - Use L.D. on all maps, but skip the boss maps. After item level 500 - Lower Stars to 0 - and Defeat Item Bosses until Kill Bonus Is Completed?
+beetayasol I killed every boss in my way, even while leveling the item. Keep it on 20 stars till you get 400 Kill Bonus (happens a little after you get lv500). Everyone except for the Item God, and Giant Proto Darkdeath, is easily beaten anyways. Item God isn't too bad, if you can get it within range of your Sage's spells.
Could you please add the links to Rahiz and X Shadows gamefaq topics? Can't seem to find them :-X i did find a good general idea comment here: www.gamefaqs.com/boards/835980-disgaea-5-alliance-of-vengeance/72703065/834792809 that probably is all I need to know. (but I am wondering if what I have in mind would go over 100% reduction (and if that is a waste of skills or extra extra safe)
Brian Prophett Dont worry. im only 10 months late. im assuming you've figured it out, so im just explaining this for people who may eventually stumble across and need to read this. You dont need max equipment at all to nuke floors at 20 stars in LoC. if you max sub classes, max shards/extracts, and reincarnate, then you just need to make your way to level 9999 with the raised flag equipment and elite 4 squad. that will max you out at 40M with no equipment. now, with a proper evility setup on your high stat sage, and a few buffer characters, you can send that stats of your sage through the roof, allowing you to nuke the item world even against characters who technically have higher stats than you. to give an idea of just how strong your sage is, ill say it has exactly 10Mil stats with 0 equipment and 0 evilities just for the sake easy math. so first we add on the 100% overall stat boost given by the stat booster evilities in this video along with being in the foot soldier squad. so now your stats equal 20 million. now we can add your damage boost evilities, of which i think there were 3 in this video giving 150% total. so your attack/int stat is now the equivalent of 35Mil. Now we'll add in your buffers. 4 buffers give a 100% attack stat increase due to angel song, and a 20% enemy stat decrease. so now youre hitting with the power of 70Mil attack stats. but now you can add your crit curry which gives you a 100% crit rate. i think the multiplier of your crit is 1.5x damage. so using a skill with curry at this moment gives you the equivalent of a 105 Mil attack stat. but you can still go farther. we have the evility purgatory which grants your crits 50% extra damage. so now youre hitting with the equivalent of 122.5Mil attack stats. now you can add on your stack of 100 professionals, which grant event more crit damage so now your crits are dealing +100% crit damage. your attack stat is equal to 157.5Mil. i forgot to include the magic boost/Braveheart which gives you a 150% increase to your attacking stat, but you get the point. just based off 10 mil stats, with the right evility set up and no equipment, you are basically a walking nuke.
yeah dude i quit this game a while ago, i maxed one sage out found out i needed more power to deal with baal it was like at least 2 more characters i said fuck that
I'm sure there's gold in here but the music drove me insane and it's important to make your actual gameplay a lot slower so we can keep up. Not everyone is an 18 year old with perfect reflexes lol. I just can't watch this but I really wanted too.
12:35 - Wait a sec... is the floor of that Item World stage a rendition of the overworld from the old Dragon Quest game for NES!? WHOA! MIND BLOWN!
Oh, right. I always thought it's a piece of the overworld map from Final Fantasy V with the Kuza Castle but I see the DQ poison swamps now.
A quite late comment but i would add something to your vid.
As supports for the land decimator sage i use :
Another sage for the extra hit (like you do)
Christo (obviously for his accuracy bonus like you do)
Pleinair (+10% Stats bonus for all allies, since violence and the royal boar evilities gives +89% stats together it makes it near the cap)
Mao ( +20% dmg bonus for allies within 2 tiles AND +20%dmg received for enemies within 2 tiles) which mean an enemy thrown near your sage will make him take 40% more damages !
You don't need Pleinair, switch her with maid. you cap stats with violence and greedy disposition (50%+39%) while your characters in a filled maxed Lvl Foot Soldier Squad(+20%) that's (+109%). He is already over the cap by 9% stats
cant tell you how many times ive come back to this video
Damn,those soundtracks tho.NICE
thanks for the guides dood I really appreciate the hard work you put into your videos and thank you for doing it^^
Man this video saved my ass back when I started disgaea 5 thanks.
Thanks for this guide - really awesome info!!
Right, then.
I think, I am going to have to start a new Trap. Because I have a level 500 one I've enabled to go over level 500 and things are getting too tough.
When you were going thru the trap for the kill bonus why did you have the route at invaders? Does that give you more potential kills or something?
I was assuming the Invaders counted towards the kill bonus.
Killing Invaders also gives a headstart on the Training Bonus grind.
@@MrEvilbyte oh nice I'll do that and dope for you replying on comments after a vid is 7 years old, been a new fan of the series and love them
So in 5, skipping floors and only killing bosses isn't the optimal strategy for leveling gear eh?
I had no idea Softening Aura was a thing.. i been ganking my own buffers this whole time O.O!! hmm how to get the thief's 3rd unique evilty slot?
The Thief would have to "kill" Carnage Void Dark.
And by kill, that can mean starting a Team Attack or Tower Attack with some very overpowered teamates that can do the actual damage.
I made 1 or 2 videos on how to do this.
Star Ocean 4 fan? ;)
I know the music when I hear it!
Nathan McCammon Hey can you tell me what Star Ocean song that is? I like it a lot and would appreciate it if I could get the name.
I should probably start getting the third unique evility on everyone
you should make 2 video 1.maxing subclass 2.start up for post game for beginners
+William Gilbert He has a video already about maxing subclasses
For Training Bonus, do the Dieticians need to be subdued and capped? Or I can use unsubdued ones? Thanks!
that FF reward music at the successful dupe.
Another nice video d00d!
And She really owns, PLIP!
Yep. You'll have to pass bills for the extra Jump and Movement.
Excellent, thanks for the info and research.
For your floor clearing sage, if all the enemies are 9999 like her, what unique evility would be a good substitute for Bullying? and can you have more than 1 Unique Innocent on an item? like say I wanted to "put" cat burglar on the megaphone with hostage negotiator
bulling evilty works on same level
Noesis Theoria okay, cool. Thank you. Would you happened to know about the unique innocents, too?
xKagatox The "put unique evility" option should make that self explanatory for you
I believe each item can only have 1 Unique Innocent on it.
Like subduing innocents, and completing certain quests.
awesome guide put into 1 video, this help me save a lot of time.is there another tank build without dlc?
I havn't tried a non Sicily tank build, but I'm sure it's more then feasible without her. Sicily wasn't getting hit for much of her HP ever. Another character trying that build shouldn't take much more damage. Also typically, in the Item World, you'll probably never be tanking more then 3 enemies at once.
Just pick a character or class with good innate resistances (especially Star resistance).
This give me some general idea non tank dlc build.Thank for the advice.
MrEvilbyte Ah okay then, thanks for the info, guess It'll help getting the KB as well as then training bonus. Thanks!
I have a question 8 years too late... why the ATTK bonus evilities? Aren't the spells based on INT?
How is scicily getting instantly healed after they all hit her. 🤔
MrEvilbyte and you make this with only a bunch of carnage elixirs
What would you suggest for a situation when facing against someone with max stats INCLUDING hp??
Can this tank evility setup work on Armor Knights?
I'm planning on getting Sicily, but I can't wait to have a tank on my team! :)
+MrEvilbyte Thank you!
_How uh...how long did the first step take you? I have almost the same setup and I was just curious_
Mr evilbyte please tell me, what is kill bonus anyway? What if i level up an item without maxing kill bonus? Is that significant?
Kill Bonus is a multiplier on Item stats. It's increased by killing enemies (preferably on higher cheat shop difficulty setting). To 'softcap' an item, you want to get this to 400.
You can level up an item without maxing kill bonus, but it's stats won't be as good. But nothing is stopping you from maxing kill bonus later on, since you have infinite floors to work with.
Dark song evility is good?
I'm playing the switch version and I've reached a point where kill bonus only increases by about four every ten floors on 20 star difficulty. Am I doing something wrong or is this just extremely tedious?
Nicky Sztybel - I'm with the same question here, but it seens to be that way
He mastered his trap. Kill bonus on floor 500, i'm on floor 200 with 250+/- kill bonus right now.
Yeah I've since maxed the Trap It's just really tedious...
How did you get Killidia's move animation on other characters?
Equip Axel Gear (you win them from Normal Baal).
The bonus should be the same
your characters had 300% in All Aptitudes? And what would that change in the weapon?
My chars didn't have 300% aptitudes (had no gear to use them on at that point anyways). My chars only had 20Mil base stats (boosted to 40Mil via evilities).
Leveling weapons is mostly the same, just use innocents to strengthen 0 or negative stats.
Apparently leveling Axes is different, and it's impossible to level Carnage Axes (impossible to cancel out the massive negative stats).
@@MrEvilbyte 300% aptitudes would it be something like 300% of 2M in character stats? would be 6M of stats?
@@Li_Qiye Aptitudes (as well as Weapon/Armor Mastery) multiply the stats gained from equipment only. It has no influence on your chars base stats.
@@MrEvilbyte I wanted to refer to the 2Mil trap stats that would become 6Mil with 300% aptitudes (2Milx300%). Anyway, thanks for the clarification!
How did you get Axel Gear? Couldn't find any article about it
Defeat regular Baal (I have a video on that too).
with land decimator....how come your allies are not getting hit or receiving damage?
Is that equipment or evility?
+RME7771 Allies that have Softening Aura evility (SlumberCat subclass), can't be hit with any sort of friendly fire.
Would Frog sweat be less effective or more effective than the CD elixir?
Less effective. You can still shove Frog Sweats into your elixir for some HP boost anyways.
MrEvilbyte I only asked because every CD elixir I have found is greatly inferior in hp/sp so it seemed maybe the frog breath might be stronger. Thanks for clearing it up
How come your ally doesn't get damage from Land C?
They all have Softening Aura evility (from Slumber Cat subclass).
Hey I got to ask, my trap is lvl 2000 and i already soft capped it and i still have like 50 item gods left to kill (gathering unique innocents) is this normal?
It takes 4700 floors to get all unique innocents, so that's perfectly normal.
MrEvilbyte wonderful. Thank you for the clarifications. And btw thanks for showing us the Sicily build, it works wonders!
How do you get such high movement range? You changed the item names so I can’t figure out what you are using exactly.
It it just a combination of CW farming and increasing movement in item assembly?
question i found a weapon in one of the mystery room in the item world but i cant take it, its said im a novice.
can you tell me the requirement to get it please and thank you
+jop liamsuwan (fortexx) make sure your main character has weapon mastery of that weapon at lvl 100.
my question is out of all the evility u got or know which one is your favorite and why
+MrEvilbyte thank you for answer this question
+MrEvilbyte Where can I see the kill bonus on the item? And wich Inocence is the best for leveling the stats?
I'm already at lvl 500 with the catastroph and I just wana know If I can make it super OP.
+MrEvilbyte I wanna ask this too. If I give an item inocente that gives INT and ATK than those stats will get the boost? Or It doesn't matter If I equipe them or not?
Floor 10,000+ is a 100% chance to dupe. also why are you running mana scarcity when you already have all stats +100%?
Is there honestly any reason to change the enemy rank though?
Enemies give more Kill Bonus the stronger they are, so 20-star maximizes gains per kill. It takes SUBSTANTIALLY longer otherwise.
Is there anyway to farm eclipse power stats?
is there any good reason to lvl up Land Decimator?
Absolutely. Higher level = less SP cost (upto 90% less SP).
And upgrading Land Decimator in the skill shop does increase it's damage (even though it never goes above F rank).
thx. do maxed staticans effect stack? cant remember atm.
1900 Mentor stack (and maxed out Skill EXP slider) is what you use to level skills up. It takes just 6 uses to lv99 a skill that way.
Nice video and tips . Just wondering , do i have to max my Dietician (50000) in order to to cap out Trap Hp or I can just put them in ?
+Fuzzy Chang I'm not sure if the Dieticians being capped makes HP increase faster.
Just put as many as you can in it, and HP will max in the end.
+MrEvilbyte Thank you very much. Cause I don't feel like farming for more Dietician (cap) in order to max out the trap's hp . Well thanks for the tip and videos . You help a lot of people with this . :)
I don't use Sages for Item world! Screw Sages! ;P I only use them for support"Multi-Attacker"
Sage strategies get boring to watch after the first 20 ones you see. I also only use them for the Multi-Attack, though I like her design more than the regular Skulls and Witches, and still prefer the Magic Knight both design-wise as well as gameplay-wise.
So the stars actually make the IW harder?
MrEvilbyte what about my evilty loadout? Is violence a better option then?
How are your buffers taking no damage?
Softening Aura evility (from the SlumberCat subclass)

How did you get three unique ability slots with such low stats
You get Unique Slots by killing the Carnage Prinny Overlord and Carnage Dark. Team Attacks and Tower Attacks count for the unit that initiates such attacks. I just did that with some seriously beefed up teamates xD

Keep it on 20 stars till you get 400 Kill Bonus (happens a little after you get lv500). this doesnt make any sense. how can you have a nuker sage. if you havent had a maxed item? im confused.
Brian Prophett
Dont worry. im only 10 months late. im assuming you've figured it out, so im just explaining this for people who may eventually stumble across and need to read this.
4 buffers give a 100% attack stat increase due to angel song, and a 20% enemy stat decrease. so now youre hitting with the power of 70Mil attack stats. but now you can add your crit curry which gives you a 100% crit rate. i think the multiplier of your crit is 1.5x damage. so using a skill with curry at this moment gives you the equivalent of a 105 Mil attack stat. but you can still go farther. we have the evility purgatory which grants your crits 50% extra damage. so now youre hitting with the equivalent of 122.5Mil attack stats. now you can add on your stack of 100 professionals, which grant event more crit damage so now your crits are dealing +100% crit damage. your attack stat is equal to 157.5Mil. i forgot to include the magic boost/Braveheart which gives you a 150% increase to your attacking stat, but you get the point. just based off 10 mil stats, with the right evility set up and no equipment, you are basically a walking nuke.
yeah dude i quit this game a while ago, i maxed one sage out found out i needed more power to deal with baal it was like at least 2 more characters i said fuck that
this carp don't work -_-
Authentic Venom well now that Trump is in office that carp is going to have to work!
I'm sure there's gold in here but the music drove me insane and it's important to make your actual gameplay a lot slower so we can keep up. Not everyone is an 18 year old with perfect reflexes lol. I just can't watch this but I really wanted too.
this crap don't work
It does. You probably did something wrong.
Please go into more detail as to what about it "doesn't work"?
