Friend, I really do not know if that configuration works, I do not know much about engines, I use those engines thanks to a recommendation that they made me and to date they have worked excellently. They already have more than three years and many kilometers traveled without problems. One of the people who can help you made a comment in this video is called Eduardo Fritis and is a master in all this besides and good Friend. Good luck with the subject and nice flights.
Me and my friend also have the MTD. He has a setup very similar to yours, and he went past 10km a few weeks ago. I myself have only done 7km, but that is because I use 5,8Ghz video, and at that range the video is too bad to continue. My friend uses Thomas Sherrer LRS, and I use the new TBS Crossfire LRS for control-link.

if you want to save more weight, we fly with LiIon, masha Allah our longest flight so far was just over 100 km before landing - LD Motors 2814-510KV - Panasonic 18650GA 6S5P - Graupner 3 bladed 9x5

Hello friend, the range depends on many factors, but at least I hope 10km. At some point I hope to prove it. The cost goes over 1000 usd.
