it's 2800 inr for single (e-visa cost)
If you have 7 hrs of gap then i suggest you to take a grab taxi from airport to Petronas twin tower and spend 2 hrs and come back again prior 3 hrs of departure
immigration clearance might take 1 hr hardly if it's crowded or else it could be done soon
No interviews will be conducted during the visa process

We booked directly from the airline websites so they were safe. And no our luggage was automatically transported to the next flight!

I'm travelling to Bali via Kuala Lumpur. Have a layover of 12 hours. Can you please help whether I would require visa to check in at the airport terminal 1? I wouldn't go out of the airport. So what are the options available in the transit area for sleeping and resting?
You would not require a visa if you don't plan to step out of the airport. Not sure about the options for sleeping. But the airport is huge and you can while away time at the airport for sure.

I also got different PNR but my layover is about 9 hours but i think according to malaysian visa website now it's Visa free for indians to travel at malaysia... so do i require a transit visa? as i have different PNR number(also the terminal is same KLI2)
I think rules have changed now and nothing is required but you will have to check this. When we went we had to apply for transit visa.
Hey Ma'am, we have booked the flight to bali, but we also have a layover of 9 hours at Malaysia airport, and we want to out to see petronus towers, and we have few questions:
1. Do we need to apply Malaysian visa or transit visa to go out of airport
2. What to put as address proof while applying for e visa
Indians only need to apply for a single entry evisa(link in the description) if you only plan to stay there for your layover.
For address proof, we just made a word document in which we just mentioned we are staying for 9 hours and have a flight (mentioned our flight details). And whenever they ask for address just put the airport address! Hope this helps :)

No it is for one person and 7 hours will be enough To visit and be back but be sure of the timings you'd be travelling(eg it might for sure be crowded if you travel during office timings). Immigration took like half an hour(but it depends on your luck too, consider at least a hour). No interviews.

So I have total layover of 6hours and 45mins exact.
Our flight will land at 6:45am and next flight is at 1:30 pm. You think we can cover just the twin tower?
Just check when is the first slot available(i don’t remember) and it will take you easy over 2 hours at the twin tower(consider this 3 to be on safe side) and around 45 mins drive back.

Hi Chitra, we uplaoded a word doc stating " to whomever it may concern, we will be in Kuala Lumpur for a 9 hour layover, hence we will not need any accomodation". You can explain further if you want, but this worked for us.

hey I have a flight from Bali and I will reach Malaysia by 10 and than my flight is at 3 in the afternoon... so, total time is 5hrs... So, should I do this or not recommended to me?
I think it will be very tight. You could try to cover just one place but will have to hurry everything and it wont fun. Not recommend 😅

I'm traveling to bali in the coming week and I booked tickets to kualalampur and booked another tickets Malaysia to bali which is after 10hours. Do I need evisa or MDAC registration enough as I also want to go out?

Just fill MDAC as Malaysia is visa free for Indians .
If your connection needs terminal change then take metro train it will cost 36INR (VISA credit/debit card) required .
If no terminal change but different pnr then there are transfer counter at klia2 so u can get your next boarding passes from there no need to go through immigration

Hey, I will be landing Malaysia at 10:15 AM and my India flight at 8:45PM which means i need to checkin before 6:45PM. I m planning for these places. I think with 8 hrs if you really wanna cover may be covering one important place like Petronas n coming back to airport would be safe n best in my opinion.
I think it will be enough but you will have to rush everything. We were able to cover everything in the timeline mentioned without any rush though.
For address you can provide the airport address and mention you will leave the same date
