You forgot to put the link in at 18:13 I wish there was something like this for every one of the models. This was immensely helpful. Thank you so much!
Thank you for the reminder! Of 3,200+ views, you're the first one to kindly point that out! I always forget those links... I've now added that. #betterlatethannever 😁 I'm so glad you found it helpful. That is always a great encouragement to me to know. And thank you for watching and commenting! Happy day to you friend. ~jb
“Hey blue boy, why didn’t you put some weathering on?” 😂 Thanks for a great video. I’m just starting out. Was going to assemble my Rhino, but I think I want to paint the interior so will have to wait.
@JonBius I will absolutely go back and watch more of your tank videos. I am guessing I am about your age, which is a nice surprise. I am a tanker, and I work on everything from Sabre to Fellblade tanks.
The main thing you'll run into is needing to reprime areas that have to be sanded, puttied, etc., when things are assembled. It is a fast way to do it, as handling the parts is easy. But either way works. My recommendation is to plan the build, its subassemblies, etc., and then use that planning process to determine when it is best to do particular steps. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hi Jon, this was useful to see how you approached this model as a simple build. I always appreciate the the extra thoughts and comments you add to all your videos. But I have to say Blue Boy, where's the weathering?
Timely video! I just started working on a kit to enter my first competition, so I’m nervous about all my basic techniques. What’s your opinion on washing parts before applying primer?
I think it is a good practice, in general. It's one of those things that doesn't really hurt to do, so I often do it from a "better safe than sorry" standpoint. Good luck on your project! And thank you for watching and commenting. 😊
@@christopherwhitford831 thanks. That fits my general “nothing fancy” approach-going with an easier Bandai kit to minimize the seam line removal and stuff
Really clear, easy to follow guidance on the build. Thanks for the video. I'm going to start my first Rhino shortly :)
Have fun! It's a great kit. Thanks for the kind words, and for watching and commenting!

Thanks so much my friend! 😊
Looking great blue boy, weathering or not!
Thanks my friend! :D
Happy day to you!
Are there any struggles or issues to priming pieces prior to assembly? Is it not recommended to?

What is the gloss medium you utilized?
I used Pledge (Future), but any acrylic gloss medium will work just fine.

Wheres the weathering? Jk great job man, I appreciate it! I got the Deimos Pattern Rhino and am part way done!
I think you'll have fun with that one! Thanks for your kind words, and for watching and commenting!

If your competition is ipms show focus on your basic construction

Nice Megadeth pun!
Thanks for noting that. I kinda made myself laugh. 😁
Happy day to you!
I don't do weathering by the way. Just my personal preference.

Can someone tell me the dimensions of this rhino?
The model is about 4.5 inches long, 3 inches wide, and about 1.75 inches tall. I hope that helps!
