    Thanks for the great video! I just bought a new Mule Pro FXT 1000cc. I was curious about the front diff oil change because I saw the labor was quite a bit higher for the dealer to do it if it has a winch. I shouldn't have any issues with doing all that myself at home and save well over $100.

    Thank you for the walk thru. I just bought a new FX I stumbled on looking for parts for my tractor. I had been looking but around here dealers of all brands have a whole lot of empty in the show rooms...so when i found this one at a small dealer it came home with me. I think the mule will be fine for working around the property.Again thanks for the walk thru

    Great video thank you so much that was so helpful for me. I have the mule Pro MX 2024 I'm not sure if it's the MX or the 2024 but on mine you don't have to take the bumper off you just have to take the four bolts that hold the winch on and then you can easily access the front case

    Thanks for this video. Just bought one of these and was wondering why the manual recommends that the dealer service the front axle fluid on the ranch model. I see it's just because of the removal of the front bumper which is no big deal at all.

    Thank you! I will be doing those services soon! And i agree with you, this has also become my primary vehicle on the farm. Have you done a video on how to replace the gas filter?

      I have not changed the fuel filter yet, but it should be easy to do. The Mule rides great and navigates all of the trees that I have here very well I have a lot of trails that a tractor will not fit through. Have a great day

    I'm due to change my differential fluids as well so your video was very helpful. The Valvoline UTV oil is a lot easier to find in stores rather than always going to the dealer for the Kawasaki brand. But great video as always, Joe. We've been getting bombarded with rain here in Western PA and it doesn't look to let up anytime soon🤷‍♂️. Have a great day buddy. Look forward to the next one!

      Good Morning , its has been raining here off and on for the past two weeks here as well . When I picked up the oil filter at the shop they did not have the rubber O-rings for the drain plugs so I picked up a Metric O-ring Kit from Harbor Freight and was able to match what I needed , in case you experience the same problem Have a good day and Thanks for Watching

      Another oil that meets all requirements and is absolutely better than the Kawasaki or the Valvoline oil is Shell Rotella T6 Full Synthetic 5W-40. It sells for $20-25 at Walmart for a full gallon. It's a favorite of motorcycle owners and ATV owners as it's the best protection you can get for the price and also works in ATVs and motorcycles that have wet clutches.

    I have a 2016 FX PRO which except for the oil filter access on your's everything else is the same as yours on mine. If you want to save a little time and hassle with accessing that front diff. fill hole I would suggest using a step drill and drilling about a inch wide hole in that bumper plate. I had to do this to my Polaris 500 Sportsman and it makes the fill hole very accessible. I then use a 50 cc syringe with about 10 inches of tubing on it to fill it up.The other comment I have is that my owners manual also states that the engine oil capacity is 2.2 quarts but I have found out that it always takes between 2.50 and 2.75 quarts to fill it. (813 CC three cylinder ,and after filter change) not sure why the discrepancy. Good job on the video, thanks for the info.

    Daddyjoe, been watching your videos for awhile now. We picked up a 2022 fxt a couple months ago and the family loves it. Running up on 200km/20hr mark and i'm going to replace the fluids. The video was awesome, it's gonna help me out. Just a question on where you got the torque values from. My manual for the 2022 has the following and it differs, Engine oil drain at 37ftlb and oil filter at 15ftlb, Front Final Gear filler cap and plug are both marked for 25.3ft/lb, Transmission case filler cap and drain bolt are marked 15ftlb.

    • @AskDaddyjoe
      @AskDaddyjoe  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good evening and Thank You. My mule is a 2020 and the torque values are from the manual so maybe they have changed a few things. Changing the fluids wasn't bad you should get right through it. Have fun with the project and

      @@AskDaddyjoe Well it's done! Your video was a god send getting me through this. One note for anyone who is curious, the manual says to torque the the oil pan drain bolt to 37ftlb(2022 mule)... there is no way this was going to happen before you stripped the pan threads off. You could feel it through the wrench, I left mine at 20ftlb and it seems like enough. Thanks again Daddjoe!
