Finals at the Vans BMX Waffle Cup was on another level. The hybrid course really proved to lend a hand to some amazing riding. There was something on the course for everyone to shine and it shows. Don’t let me hold you up...Hit play and watch the madness unfold!
WHAT IS OUR BMX?!
In short, we are the Ride BMX staff out on our own. We're building from the ground up and our goal is pretty simple. We want to continue what we love. We want to create great content, feature awesome riders, and contribute, push, and show why we love BMX. rim nakamura impressed me. he went big for the crowd. he put on hell of a show. he's the only one to pull a big trick on each part of the course.

I love the watching the high flyers, it just adds a another level of suspense and high risk to the competition.

It’s weird seeing Peraza in blue jeans. I think his white pants fit his style so well with all his leg tricks like no footed cans, Superman’s, whips.
Devon deserved much better than 6th. Dope course and amazing riding. Rad to see all the different styles together.

Ok for Kevin's lead but Raekes 2nd WTF ? Smillie and CK deserve that ? Park riders like Wallace, Nakamura deserves more, just for making street tricks. This format of Park/street is nice but hard for the judges i think, same as simple session before COVID.

I don’t understand the judging lately. Years ago the dude/ dudes who straight killed it won. No points or favorites I think now it’s just the sheer number of crazy good riders make it so hard to judge

Sick competition nice hearing Paul Roberts voice not seen him since I was 15 racing at Exeter bmx track I was racing with Ross Hill in his race group at the time back then I’m 43 now and still ride bmx, BMX RULES 🔥👍🚲💨

I met Paul Robert's in 82 or 83 morning of a national race at grasby I think he must have been 12 or 13 ,never stopped talking the most enthusiastic guy I ever met ,he had the gravely voice even then
It is now obvious that street and park are not separate disciplines when it comes to these events. In fact, somebody is eventually going to start incorporating even more flatland concepts into these courses.

Super luck nobody got hurt from colliding with other rider's as it turned into a cluster f&@k or basically a free-for-all and people were snaking one another every chance they got. Amazing riding nonetheless and loved the set-up.

Come on Vans Scotty's female announcer was HORRENDOUS, had no idea what she was talking about, sounded extremely uncomfortable and just boof. I would kill it announcing a contest like this. If I was a judge if you're pants are 12" flooded and 70" wide you get scored a zero.

Why is Vans letting guys compete without helmets on ???
Because they are adults and know the risk. If you have never or seldom rode with a helmet it could be even more dangerous as it does take getting used to.
@@canadeah3665 Head injuries are very real , No excuses not to wear one i rode in the 80’s with a 5 lb Bell Moto 4 helmet all day long these helmets these days weight nothing… all im saying is protect your head…. I know several guys that have slammed and banged there head on the concrete & ashfalt and have passed away from there head injuries…
