How to replace a carburetor. ECHO PB-200

This is a leaf blower I bought used a couple years ago for $20. It finally stopped working. But the Chinese carb made it start and run great after minor adjustments.

I bought the replacement carb and the faces that go against the gasket are pretty rough. also can you give a description of what the 2 screws do.
