- Today was a very special day and will always be remembered! Bonnie and Young are locals from South Korea and have been following our journey on TH-cam since we had just over 200 subscribers! It was a no brainer for us to want to meet and spend the day exploring Seoul! We were so happy to meet and it felt like we had been long lost friends who have now turned into our family! A huge thank you to them for taking time out of their day to show us around - eat with us, explore with us and of course treat us like family! A day we will never forget! if you are wondering if this is how they treat you in Korea, if they are friendly and welcoming - watch this video, you wont be disappointed :)
Also we may have explored far beyond our comfort zones when we ate live octopus for the first time! Yes, it was still Alive and moving!
We always knew how lovely and amazing Koreans are in general, and to be treated like family and being received with a warm welcome will be cemented in our hearts forever! Thank you Bonnie and Young!

For reference, the original soju ingredient was made from rice, but as the policy has changed, today's soju is a cheap ingredient called cassava (tapioca) that can be more free and cost-effective.

Recently Soju is made from tapioca(cassaba). It is made by mixing tapioca with water and sweetener.

저 식당 영어판 메뉴라 저렇게 써놓으신듯..
그래서 요즘에는 막 우리음식 영어표기를 Korean pancake 이런말 쓰지말고 Joen 전. 이렇게 우리 한글소리대로 쓰자는 움직임이 많아요

Although it is part of an octopus leg, it continues to move even when cut off, making it look like a worm. It's hardcore among Korean foods. This is a dish that only the brave can eat ~~~ lol
