@@Adnan-jn2nk not really he's a professional and does it in professional tracks the only room for error is spinning off into the grass, however if you're talking about drifting in the city then yeah it's a huge risk. But doing it in a place where you're meant to drift, is a little better.
Well, the plate of the car says "KA-ES 906". That means that the car is registered in Karlsruhe, Germany, a city near the French border. And that makes a lot of sense because here in Karlsruhe we have a Michelin factory.
Hahahahahahaha fucking hell you lost me at sound 😂😂😭😂 Car known for having the shittest sounds on the internet despite the older model sounding better and less of an engine downgrade to something smaller that sounds like a fart can ... Looks good but I'd swap for the e92s v8 or 2jz or RB
That is something I realised when I first started driving. When in the driver's seat, things can get chaotic and we will hardly feel a thing. Everyone else in the car however, gets thrown around as if they are in a different car altogether
Robert Driesen Michelin’s test driver, Jerome, wants to feel as connected to the car as possible, which isn’t possible with the normal BMW seats (one of the trivia on this episode can explajn this Bette Ethan I can)
I think Michelin spent a lot of money to promote their product by many way, included THIS. We have several automotive review media in Indonesia (especially on TH-cam), they've been endorsed by this tyre company. All of them ABSOLUTELY.
Looks like when the 3 left Top Gear they took the early sounded editor with them. I can barely hear Hammonds voice when introducing the professional drifter during his drifting sequence
Doing this, which is power sliding not drifting in the wet with that car would take no more than 10mins to understand and complete a lap. Actual drifting in the dry with an underpowered car is a totally different story.
I was thinking the same thing about the video. On a dry road you need more skill and the BMW was powerful on a wet track so he was sliding more than using skill to technically 'drift'. (assuming the track was only wet to not leave tire marks, preserve the tires, and/or test tires on a wet road it was in the favor of the drifters. The moment they switched to a normal road it would be a different story)
That first part isn’t really drifting as it’s not multiple turns to chain the drift, it’s basically a continuous power slide, the second part is to some extent
Correct. Everyone uses "drifting" as a catch all for oversteer when it's not the case. Drifting is sliding into a corner, while powersliding is sliding through a corner......without the transitioning, you have no drifting
@@playlists1168 Clutch is essentially the drift pedal just like the ebrake is the drift stick. Harder to drift auto's exactly because of the lack of clutch, you have to REALLY know car control.
He still has to use countersteer. All you need is a little flick to get it started, then it should be 4 wheel drift with almost no countersteer, much like in a duct tape deathmatch(gumu tapeu deathumatchu) It is especially easier to do in the wet.
Mr French Toast's precision is remarkable, especially on a wet skid pan. I would give someone else's right arm to see how/if he could handle one of Ken Block's Hoonigan gymkhana cars..in a shipyard.
I wonder if he also had the drifting bed phenomenon after this. You know the thing your brain/body does when you were out at night drifting with the boys and then you go to bed. Suddenly it feels like the bed is drifting...
Because in a clean lap you have to control and minimize the powerslide and oversteer. Drift is a different balance with the same instrument, infact Hammond (and Smith of 5th gear) learn how to drift in a very small ammount of time, compared to a normal driver.
You do not remember when the D1 drift team spent the day on the track 'teaching' Hammond how to drift back in the top gear days??!!...he knows full well how to drift, and has reached his limits, I don't know why they do it, but it's all for the camera

Making a professional drifter sick... now THAT’S something 😂
He's not a pro drifter. He's good at what he does, but he'd get rekd in a pro drift comp.
I can drift my toilet on fountain watered surface.
That isn't that hard since even professional drifters get quesy when others drift or even just drive.

It goes to show how M Cars are naturally drifting machines. Absolutely beautiful
With that much water I would drift a škoda 120 (if we weld the diff) lmao though this particular M4 was really good at drifting anyway
You don’t need an M. An old 316i will do the same job.
