Tyler is a old friend of mine from where I'm from in Eastern KY and is a super chill and extremely down to earth guy. Eastern KY got hit with major flooding earlier this yr and Tyler went back and was out going house to house lending a hand and helping families any way he could.
I hear a lot of good things from people who have either seen him when he was getting rolling or knew him. One of my customers is from Danville WV. He was super shocked when he heard White House road go off on my phone because I accidentally hit play on Spotify. I’m from eastern Ohio so a lot of folk from ky and wv up here to get away from the coal towns. Anywho he somehow knew Tyler from mutual friends.
Loving your adventure into the country music. I really like that you have found the good stuff instead of the junk. Keep up the good work. You have become my go to channel and I'm enjoying the live Kellyoke nights also.
Unreleased version of Jersey Giant. He wrote it, and it's amazing. Elle King sings the released version, but Tyler nails it in his original version of it.
been stuck on Zach Bryan, Bailey Zimmerman, Tyler Childers, and Colter Wall for over a year and seeing u reacting to these songs brings me back to when i first listened to them. Great videos!
Feathered Indians or Shake the Frost I'm really digging how much of a fan of Tyler's you've become. also check out Goodbye Carolina by The Marcus King Band
This song was my first I heard from Tyler Childers. A friend sent it to me because it reminded her of my dad. Then I listened to Banded Clovis and became a lifetime fan. You should definitely listen to Banded Clovis
Follow you to Virgie-- from the Red Barn Radio set wrote for his friend when his grandmother passed.. Virgie is a tiny town in Eastern KY, might bring on some emotions 😪
Firstly, I am a GINORMOUS Zach Bryan fan! Broooo!!!!! I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!! Huge Texas Country fan.. lovveeee love Zach, Tyler Childers, Whiskey Myers… love your videos!
This boy is from Eastern Kentucky which resonates in his music and the hard life in the Appalachian mtns. Found your TH-cam today and you're only country is my literal top 5. Tyler, Hardy, Koe Cody Johnson, and Upchurch
I love how you are listening to your fans recommendations. I had suggested this one when i saw your 1st Tyler Childers reaction, now I would love to see your reaction to Billy Strings- Dust in a Baggie....as a guitarist, I think you will be blown away! It will be a rabbit hole to go down and won't be disappointed at all. Reacting to the video of him playing it in a living room might be challenging, but I believe it to be his best version. Thanks for giving us subscribers and newbies great content to watch! Keep em coming.
I’ve got a request, Austin Snell - Excuse the mess. I’ve known of him awhile through a mutual friend, but he’s damn good and just released this recently!
Hello from Scotland. Nice to hear Tyler Childers I just love his music. You should have a listen to Kula Shaker - Ophelia. be interesting tohear your views on that song
Unbelievable! I’m sure you get a ton of requests but his new album is crazy…I recommend can I take my hounds to heaven, the jubilee version. His story behold the album is wonderful! I think you’d enjoy it and it really showcases his raw talent
this is one of my favorite songs and im tottally digging the fact hes really loving some of these country songs even with it not being his first choice of music loving this reaction. a cpl oyher great artsist is like arlo mickenly bag of pills, colter wall devil wearsa suit and tie, sleeping on the black top
This was the first song I found with Tyler. I was deep in my cups and dealing with my time in uniform overseas. Not gonna lie, I was a little misty eyed by the end.
I saw Childers in Santa Barbara and his live sounds so good. The entire place got up and sang along to some of the songs. It was nuts that the entire place was singing his stuff.
I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and I'm loving the reactions. I look forward to every one of your new videos. Keep doing what you are doing brother.
Follow you to Virgie is another song he wrote for his friend when his grandmother passed. Virgie is also another place in Pike County Ky. Pike County is his old stomping grounds that’s why it comes up in a lot of his song. White House Rd is also another place there that is notorious to get your fix. I know all this because Pike County is where I was born and raised. Also worked 12 years mining Pike County coal before I had a bad injury not my back though lol.
Tyler is awesome! He’s also from Eastern KY (Pike County) which was directly targeted by pharmaceutical companies. makes the lyrics so much more meaningful. He’s an amazing song writer.
Lakeview is a great country/rock band that’s pretty unknown. Loser and Son of A are probably their heaviest songs but Do it All Again is my personal favorite 🤘
Dude, I have really been enjoying your channel and especially your country journey. You do such a great job on these reactions. I can not donate at the moment but if there is ANY way you can react to "Help me Remember" by Hayes Carll that would be amazing. Its not a well known song, but it is absolutely beautiful. Its a heartfelt song about his grandfather dealing with Dementia and Alzheimers. I have yet to see anyone react to this song either which is a shame as this song needs to get out there. Thanks either way bud. Keep on keeping on 😀
At the risk of sounding like a broken record from your comments, this is fantastic to watch. Your in depth analysis of the music is fantastic. This music has recently taking over my playlist the great, simple guitars yet subtly beautiful additions with lyrics about a working class and straight from the heart. Can you please do this to Benjamin Tod - Using Again.
If by chance you see this or any other Childer fans agree. But Long Hard Road and Deadmans Curve are good songs to catch his vibe all around. And his cover of Rock Salt and Nails make you wanna think it was a song made for him.
Tyler Childers is one of my favorites to listen to and learn his songs. You've been diving into some good music and I'm here for it! Great channel brother
This is my absolute favorite song. Love your reactions been watching for a while keep it up! I'm sure you've heard this before but please please check out Jason Isbell if you haven't! He is known by many to be the best songwriter alive. "If we were vampires" or "Elephant" by him is breathtaking.(And I would argue its the same genre as this song)
Rock Salt and Nails is actually a cover originally written / performed by Utah Phillips (th-cam.com/video/ZT_yaCETuQ8/w-d-xo.html). BTW, Tyler Childers leaves out a verse for some reason.
Congratulations on 25K! I’m a big fan of Tyler and if you’re looking to react to more of his work, please check out Hard Times. You can really feel the emotion in his voice on this track.
Please react to Justin Townes Earle. His guitar playing is great and his delivery is always interesting. I recommend “My starter won’t start”. You should also react to his dad Steve Earle and the number one song that everyone reacts to from him is “Copperhead Road”. But if you want to do something that’s less popular I think his best song is “Ellis Unit One”
Not sure if you’ve reacted to Jamie Johnson yet, if you haven’t you must, he’s in the same vein as Hardy, Wallen, Childress etc. in particular the song ‘In Color’

@@kalviskalnins830 those are great songs. I also like Speed Trap Town and Elephant.
Unreleased version of Jersey Giant. He wrote it, and it's amazing. Elle King sings the released version, but Tyler nails it in his original version of it.
it was cool as hell when you pulled out the acoustic and played the chords exactly the same as tyler childer does
the g he played at the beggining of the verse is an F not a G
I’m like ?????????? Howwwww the fuqeeee
Ladies & Gentlemen, Fischtank is officially a country music fan
This ain’t country. This is pure unadulterated Appalachia

What he’s voting for murder?? Or do you mean a murder ballad?
Charleston girl and banded clovis are my favs

I like that you show us more in depth to the guitar playing. Been seeing it more recently. Keep it up 🤘
My 9 yr old grand daughter sings this song to perfection. Didn't think I'd hear a version I like better than Tylers😂
