In today's vlog we get after it and head out dumpster diving were we find so many Hot Wheels cars it's unbelieveable this was probably the find of a lifetime:) Hope you enjoy the vlog, see you on the next one & Thank You For Your Time.
I've been a part time Dumpster Diver for about 4 years now, I normally go out 2x per week for full dives and sometimes look around 1-2 complexes after the movies etc or on the way home. Overall my eyes are always scanning the curbs and behind shops.

I do package pick-up every time. It's super easy, and you can do all rates, even Media as long as you have also scheduled another rate. Media alone doesn't work. They allow you to schedule a pick-up until 2 a.m.the night before. You can also amend and add-on to your pick-up. If it's an eBay sale, after you buy postage, look to the right side, and you'll see a link for scheduling a package pick-up. It will take you right to USPS.
amazing thank you very much for this information, have you ever had a problem with a stolen package would it still be insured? if they grabbed it off your front porch, or do you open the door and give it to him?
No problems with stolen packages, but we are in a low traffic area. Our postal lady will knock if I don't get my packages out in time. Not sure about insurance. My stuff is mostly low value.
I used a snow thrower,one of two I pulled from the dumpster where we lived today. One was a parts only,the other one needed some carborator work and a new chute for the snow. It works great! I found lots of great things in that dumpster when we were living with my kids. I still dumpster dive. I have even gotten lawn mowers,a bbq grill ( gas) A set of china brand new in boxes. A ceramic christmas village. Yup,love dumpster diving. Best time to go? Sunday morning or evening.

The only hotwheels i know of that are decently valued are the redlines, but most hot wheels don't have a lot of worth. They have made millions and millions of them. Now I found an original black label playstation one Castlevania in a dumpster that I sold for $45 that had value. But not sure about the hot wheels thing

Here’s a tip. If you are shipping flat rate boxes, you can use the free priority mail tape they provide. When you go to the post office, ask for the free priority mail tape and they will give you a roll.

This is funny. I used to live in San Diego about 35 yrs ago. And I was pretty poor. So for fun I would go dumpster diving. I got some great stuff! So I just have to laugh that dumpster diving has brought you so much joy. I know it did for me " back in the day". And ever as a mature older lady , lol I still do a little curb surfing. Have fun!!!!

duct tape cannot be used for ducts, oddly enough. Heat and cold cycles make it deteriorate quickly.

It really drives me crazy that people feel the need to be so unkind. Anywho...I never knew that dumpster diving for profit was such a big thing! It's truly crazy what people will throw away, huh?? I love to repurpose found things, but my husband made me stop bringing "trash" home~lol. Every once in a while I'll still bring something home if it's something he'll approve of (or something I can sneak in 😜)~lol.
loll, yes it does add up pretty quickly with hauls that we bring home, as long as I keep my finds in the garage my wife doesn't mind loll:) But yes people can make lots of spare income finding and re-selling.

Hot wheels over saturated collecting making most worth near to anything just like the beanie baby faze, so that find was not impressive at all. Yes I know about hot wheels , my husband has originals in packages from when they first started making them. His dad would bring him a few home at a time being a truck driver. When you get the phone call from Mattel asking to buy some of your collection because they don't have the cars let us know! Now that's how he made bank on hot wheels.
