    I just thought I'd add some of my research into Blue Land here in case anyone was interested!
    One of the first things I was wondering about was if they were antibacterial seeing as they prioritize "clean ingredients" (from their website). It turns out they do not appear to be antibacterial and do not claim to be such. However, as I did more research it turns out that the FDA and CDC both do not necessarily recommend using antibacterial hand soaps/cleaners, much to my surprise. They say that there is not sufficient evidence that antibacterial cleaners are actually more effective than normal soap and warm water in keeping a clean home, and in fact over use of such products may lead to resistant bacteria. It appears antibacterial products are mostly used in hospitals or for other vulnerable populations but are not necessarily advantageous for the average person. I was totally surprised by this, but it's super useful to know!
    If anyone wants to learn more, I would encourage you to do a bit of your own research, the findings may surprise you!

      @@karleyj9706 Hey I was translating to my own language some stuff from WHO and some experts during Covid (my mom is a doctor and this stuff needed to be coming out ) anyways, I translated this whole long article explaining how general soap is sufficient for tearing apart the virus particles, and (I'm a biologist and had virology) since most viruses have a very similar structure I would assume the same applies for them.
      Many natural-based cleaning products have some sort of oil that will kind of cover the surface and may help bacteria not be able to spread on it. So if you see oil ingredients in cleaners that could be it.

      Antibacterial soap hasn’t proven to do anything more than washing properly with regular soap and it’s terrible if it gets into large water sources. It kills bacteria generically. It kills the bacteria that keeps us healthy as well as those that don’t and it’s causing huge algal blooms in lakes and the ocean.

    Quick tip: It looks like you might have to same "problem" I had in that the cabinet under the kitchen sink is a dark cave and hard to easily see everything under there. I lined my cabinet with white contact paper and now it's much brighter and everything stands out and can be seen more easily.

    Feel like that was abit judgmental for people who live with mostly white walls, let’s not forget that was you not too long ago

    • @MarisaAndChew
      @MarisaAndChew 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I love white walls BC it reflects light well, I also like a lot of plants and mirrors. As long as you feel welcome in your home this shouldn't bug you. Sarah felt comfortable and welcome in her minimalist style until she didn't and she's may changes to reflect that. We also need to remember that she started off here living at home to married living in a single wide tiny trailer and that she HAD TO BE MINIMAL in order to mentally function with babies. They didn't even have their own bedroom. For Sarah white everywhere may actually remind her of that lack of space or it may have really bothered her to move into a larger home and it feeling so empty and almost clinical while they budgeted and decided on what to decorate with. I can't imagine going from a super tight space to a massive one like she did without it feeling a bit overwhelming and not as cozy. Wanting to stay minimal but have a cozy space is hard to achieve. Sarah has done well with adding off whites and since warmth without adding a whole bunch of stuff.

    This has been a struggle for a few yrs now. I'm blaming on my age and still having little ones to chase after. It's not as easy as it was when I was in my 20s and 30s. 😂😂😂
    I was like this throughout my younger yrs and now I'm more like, meh, I'll get it sometime. I'd rather just sit and watch my 2 youngest ones play. ❤
    Oh, I'm not sure about these newest ovens, but when you use the self clean, it's actually best that you are not in the home or at least not in the kitchen when it's running. It sets off the worst, toxic fumes that we really shouldn't be breathing in. Maybe opening windows and doors if you can't leave the home. ❤❤❤

      Yes it should be a TH-cam standard to stop the ads and even the content these days feels like they are all leading us into certain ways of doing things that aren’t actually healthy. It’s literally all grain inspired content and clean. It’s really quite hard to discern but they are literally guided these multitude of thy are godly thy make so much food, thy is perfect parent content.
      We don’t know them . All I do know is that for most women a bit of cooking is good a meal a day. Cleaning and cooking everyday this illusion is an unhealthy affect on women. Humans were not designed to be watching other people go go go all the time. It’s like the crazy coffee houses meets the original goat that was actuating strangely.
      You know it’s strange and unrealistic to clean uninterrupted. Bake uninterrupted., create multitudes of meals and not have in ordinary amounts of food wastage. It’s literally a whole advertisement in itself. Remember you are human women and you are not robots to be reset to suggestive content that will only end in motherhood burn out. Husbands absolutely are happier when wives find rest.

      @@lorelwebber6435you do know you're only recommended videos based on your likes and Google searches right? Plenty of women DO LIVE THIS LIFESTYLE especially women involved in religions that have more strict gender roles. Just BC Sarah does it doesn't mean you're failing if you only know how to cook boxed Mac and cheese. Since Sarah got married and moved out she's ALWAYS done healthy eating, cooking at home and being frugal. She's purposely curated her lifestyle in this way. There is nothing wrong with it FOR HER. For others it may be motivational, and others just something to watch. You're judging her for basically being the housewife that existed up until the late 80's 🤷🏼‍♀️ it comes across as jealousy. I have just as much free time and I do not do half of what Sarah does in a day in a freakin week. It doesn't mean it's not cool to see! It reminds me of both of my grandma's except modern 🤷🏼‍♀️
