Been watching you from the beginning. I want to say, you have been such a genuine breath of fresh air and inspiration through each new journey in your life. So grateful for you and you allowing us in you and your beautiful family's life. God bless!
We've always had dinner together as a family, ever since our 3 kids were born.... they are now 18, soon to be 17, and 14. Our oldest works and for the last 2 years it's rare that we're able to sit down as a full family for dinner each night and let me tell you, we all feel sad when someone is missing. Breaks my momma heart and it makes me think of that saying, "You never know when something is going to happen for the last time. "
Not sure how much this helps, but you can try this dust-repelling spray for some of the harder-to-clean surfaces - it's 1/2 cup of white vinegar, 2 cups warm water, and ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil and/or a bit of dish soap.
Here at home we are going to be 5 and there is always dishes, laundry and toys everywhere. If I'm not on top of it for half of a day it just piles up like crazy.
Can you do a video on how to thaw out your meats for cooking? When to take them out etc? I need more knowledge about this! I want to start bulk buying our meats but don’t know how to go about thawing them in time for dinners/lunches and how to do it safely so we don’t get food poisoning
You can find tons of good advice on the internet and there are not that many (safe) options, so it's pretty straightforward: Refrigerator thawing (takes many hours so you need to plan in advance), cold water thawing (takes a few hours) or microwave thawing (the fastest way and it moves food rapidly through the danger zone, so the bacteria doesn't have time to grow). Thawing in hot water is generally not recommended, because you can't know if the meat entered the danger zone temperature.
We've been bulk buying meat from our local Costco. If we buy ground beef in a big package, we'll split it by weight as soon as we get home (1-1.5lb portions are useful for our small family). We use butcher paper and gallon Ziploc bags. This makes thawing for meal prep much easier. We do have to plan about 1-2 days in advance for our meat to fridge-thaw. We find that chicken takes closer to 2 days to fridge thaw.
What a wonderful video! How do you keep your nails polished with so much scrubbing? I never bother to paint mine since I hand wash dishes 3 times a day
Naw just lemon juice or lime juice and then a little water to fully submerge no vinegar Mexicans don't use vinegar for authentic pickled onions. It taste superior with just the lemon or lime juice and salt
That's how I feel about folding and putting away laundry! Would rather Scrub a toilet!!!! I totally relate! I can wash and dry..m.but the rest is always a mystery 😂
It’s funny that you say you would rather scrub a toilet than do dishes because I’m the opposite; my sister and I would actually trade chores growing up and she would clean the bathroom and I the kitchen because I am not a fan of cleaning bathrooms. 😅
Most babies allergic to milk are allergic to milk proteins. Lactose is a sugar, so eliminating it doesn't help in that case. So, it really depends on what type of allergy the baby has.
Yeah, he's home with the kids while she films. Please don't compare yourself to this level. We'd all be on top of it if our husbands were home. I work full time from home as well as having kids and it's not easy. I'm not able to spend hours cleaning. I just clean as I go.

Good to know I’m not the only one who has to wipe everything SO MUCH. I feel like I could spend an hour or two everyday wiping all the dust and crust.
We love your family news and your tips but mostly we love YOUR super personality and cute haircut!
ur overalls are super cute :) id love to know where you got them, also love ur videos :)
I believe they are Son de Flor
Yes! I wish she’d do a wardrobe tour…she has the most beautiful clothing!
@@rachaelmccann8609 fr lol she be looking cute and comfy at the same time!
She has them linked on her instagram under outfits. It is son de flor but it might be from last season as I was unable to find them on their homepage😢
Those frozen peanut butter squares were life savers for me postpartum (from your old website/blog) would LOVE if you would share that recipe again!!
We just got those countertop compost bins assigned to us in Summerland, too!

To clean the toaster, I have been using the weiman glass cook top cleaner! It's potentially less "stressful" than baking soda (less powdery)

Beautiful work with the bread ❤️
Hi! What size is your mason jar in the refrigerator at minute 18:00.
Thanks😊
Can you do a full KBS bread machine 101 and detail of what you use to clean? 😊

i couldn’t focus during this whole video… all i could think about is PLEASE sarah give us the oreo recipe😅
What books and podcasts do you recommend for people to listen to while they do housework?
Can you show how you use the bread machine with the sourdough please
You should try pickling your onions with just lime and vinegar, it’s SO delicious 😋
Just white vinegar?
@@bridgetteurbano1440 it doesn’t matter.. Apple cider or regular is what I usually use. There are some recipes you can google.

thanks for the video😀

Hello! Love your vids Sarah!♥
So is Swiss really lactose free? Like, I avoid dairy completely because I am really sensitive to lactose. But I miss Swiss cheese so much!!
Would you remember the name of your kitchen wall colour (the pale peachy colour)? It's so pretty!
That's how I feel about folding and putting away laundry! Would rather Scrub a toilet!!!! I totally relate! I can wash and dry..m.but the rest is always a mystery 😂
This is me. Laundry is the worst
I think everybody comes to their own level of peace with it. Anything between folding neatly into drawers and just piling it into a bunch of baskets.
I love sandwiches too 😊
Could you do bread machine recipe breakdown 😅
11:00 at night???? I thought the kitchen was closed at 7:00 p.m. 😂
Look up montex breadbox
Omg where did you get your overalls?! So cute!💗

When i was a nanny i cleaned and cooked to avoid playing with children 😂

Trim the roots 😆🙈
Wait Swiss is lactose free?! Does anyone know if I could eat Swiss then while breastfeeding a baby with a milk allergy?
It has very low lactose but you probably need to look at what kind of allergy they have. Lactose free and dairy allergy are different things
Most babies allergic to milk are allergic to milk proteins. Lactose is a sugar, so eliminating it doesn't help in that case. So, it really depends on what type of allergy the baby has.

The basil doesn't do well not because of the soil.. it's a plant that needs to be outside - Like all other herbs
i just don’t know how you do it all with 5 kids 😅 i have a newborn and i can’t barely shower
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
those denim culotte overalls are so cool .
You left the salmon skin 😮 . The Omega 3s are in the skin, the reason you eat salmon is for the Omega 3s.
What are your kids doing while you get all of this done!? My kids will not let me have this much time
They are with their father/her husband (he is also a stay-at-home parent).
Okay this makes complete sense now hahaha good for them :)

Am I crazy or do I see baby bump #6?
I would delete this, you never know how someone might receive it especially if there are insecurities involved.
Yes you are crazy and that’s not an appropriate comment.
