    This was really well done. Would love to see a tutorial on how you synced the different sections to work together so seamlessly!

      Hi! The software used for the sequencing is called "xlights". You basically take a photo of your house, then draw out the light placements (called "models") on the picture of your house. At that point, it is almost like movie editing. You have timeline which contains the music track. You select the effects that you want and place them on the timeline in the software so that they line up with the music. The software knows how to apply the effect to the house based on the placement of the models. Right now it takes us about 4 hours to sequence the effects for about a minute of music. While we do create mostly original sequences, this particular sequence was produced by Jeremy Poling for an annual showcase. The sequence is free to download and can be mapped and applied to a a wide range of models. If you are ever interested in getting started, there are a ton of online tutorials for xlights, and for building the hardware. Thanks for watching, and we hope that you continue to enjoy our lights!
