【Japanese Comedy Rakugo in English "Sutoku-In" Shinoharu Tatekawa】（英語落語「崇徳院」立川志の春）
This is an English version of a Rakugo story, Sutoku-In, by Shinoharu Tatekawa.
It is a story of a man, Kuma-san, who runs around the town cluelessly in search of a girl that his young master, Waka-Danna, fell in love with, to save his life. The final part of the story has been taken out to keep the fun for a live performance.

This was so good, twenty five minutes seemed to pass in an instant. Your performance was great, I loved how you played each character, their personalities shine through even in the smallest of gestures, and your acting delivers the humor just as well as the witty dialogue does! Just amazing.

素晴らしい！でも、オチまで映像がないんですね。残念です。
志の春さんのpodcast programの大ファンで、このネタの回も大好きです。
私、仕事で英語を使う機会が多いんですが、全然上達しません。

実は今英語バージョンのオチを考えています。日本語ではあの後別の床屋に行って、お嬢さん側で同じように探している人に会ってもみ合いになり、床屋の鏡を割ってしまい、店主に「どうするんですか！？」と聞かれた時に「割れても末に買わんとぞ思う」というシャレで終わります。In the Japanese version, Kuma-san goes to another barber, where he meets a guy just like himself on the young lady's side. They get in a fight and break the mirror at the barbershop. When the barber says "what are you going to do with it?", Kuma-san says "Ware temo sue ni Kawan tozo omou". Doesn't really make sense in English, but a pun of the waka poem. Looking for a better punchline in English now. :) Thanks!
