Jordan brown, my cousins husband, hand rolled all the aluminum on an english wheel, made basically a lot of the parts of this vehicle. Clocked in 4000 hrs on this build. Truly incredible and talented
I wish you could restore my car. Got a 65 Rambler Marlin 327 flash automatic. But I don't have the money that he wants to restore ard so oh well , but you , he never did one of those
Is my stepfather's first brand new car? He is dating my mother used to make us kids take our shoes off before getting into it. I restored at once 34 years ago, but I gotta do it all over again. I love that car
Its so crazy how these works of art take years and millions to build and then rarely sell for what they cost. And rarely get driven. I guess having that Trophy means a lot :)
Ever since I was a 10 year old kid in the doctor's office waiting room and I saw the very first image of the Dodge viper concept car, that has been my ultimate dream car. I still think about it. I must say that this take on a early Corvette with the fastback and all the work they did to it is now tied for first place in my book.
It’s too big….just like Corvettes of today. Dave and his shop build fantastic cars for folks who have the desire for something special in their lives and have the money to par for it. I hope they continue to for a long time.
It’s the same wheelbase and track as a 53 Corvette, and 2 inches shorter in overall length. He moved the windshield forward and the seats back to give more cabin space, but it’s the same size as the original.
It looks longer than the original especially the front half. It is beautiful, but I wonder how it would handle and drive with that heavy front engine and those firm rubber tires. Jarring?@@skaughtmc6591
Most of these custom cars leave me cold. This one is different. Congrats to the designers and builders for a truly spectacular work of art. Now if someone would actually build one for the road. Hmmm.
@@1972Raythere is nothing right about this 1953 corvette… a split window would just be another addition… I agree it would be an excellent addition to this already radical restomod, incredible build…
1958-60 Corvette taillights would suit this build better than the ones it has now. Roofline is beautiful, looks like Volvo P1800 from the side, Jaguar look from the rear.
Very strange. The rules say never shown etc. Please correct me if I am wrong Kindig has got multiple CF1s ready to be built. yet there one them shows up and is not disqualified????????????
The outside edge of the tire isn't close enough to the inner wheel openings. The tire profile & wheel size give the car an odd stance & looks out of proportion. I really like the color combination 7 the rest of the car looks great..
I realize that the owner has a say in the design but I thought we were over the grotesquely large wheel fad. The workmanship is of course incredible but it still screams “garage queen.”
That’s a beautiful car, but really five years to build it ??? Empire State building was built 11 months with 1930s technology ,they can’t build a car in the same amount of time
Great build, at 300,000$+ and yet, afraid to drive it on regular roads. What a waste of money.!! If I had the money for a build, it would not be a vehicle that I couldn't DRIVE TO WORK OR CAR SHOWS, OR EVERY DAY on current pavement roads. But no, let's build a car, with no air bag suspension, that couldn't possibly clear a simple speed bump.
I feel you but it's a car show. Once you get into that amount of money for a vehicle it's basically art. I would personally rather have a minivan that would be completely reliable and last me 25 years
More respect should be given to the people that ACTUALLY BUILD the cars!!!!.. not the guy that draws it on a piece of paper…….love to see the artist actually get out there and ACTUALLY build it…. unfortunately I have no respect for the guy….. his claim to fame is , a artist…..do the HARD LABOUR, and thousands of hours on EACH AND EVERY CAR!!!!.. then I’ll respect you…
Lame comment… he is capable of building cars but like any good leader he provides the environment for the team to work as a team. Each of who do what they do best, no one individual no mater how talented is going to achieve a build like that without the help of other master craftsmen.
Absolutely an amazing vehicle! Too bad it'll never be driven. So what's the point? Drive that sucker! That should be a rule for a Ridler winner! It must be driven on public streets. Jay Leno would drive it if it were his!
Truly a 1 of 1! Salute to the whole Kindig crew for putting this masterpiece together! 🔥
Saw it in person, even met Dave Kindig, Kev Dogg, and Will Lockwood. Resembles the 1954 Chevrolet Corvair concept. Awesome build!
Simply beautiful. Beautiful.

Can’t think of a Riddler Winner that got me this excited…Fabulous, on every level!

Kinetic sculpture. Absolutely brilliant; I hope they show the build on the series! SO MUCH work!
Beautiful Machine ! Well Done Team Kindig IT Designs !
We agree! 👍❤️🔥
Yes. It's gorgeous! Well done. 👍🏽
Top build by a top team. Well done guys. 👍👍👍.
Lots of beautiful builds..... then that rolls in. Kindig it is top shelf!
Whoever thought of using the oval mirrors underneath deserves a raise. Reflects the lines of the car perfectly. Art at the highest level.
Lots of Beautiful Cars.
Yes they are!

Cool 😎!
Beautiful ride, shame it's never seen the road and never will..
🏎️
Wow! It would have been really cool to have made it a split window ala the 63’…
Miss your show Dave!!!
So much money into this car wow
Amazing

I've seen a couple of tv episodes of these cars built as roadsters, but this is a first as a coupe
NICE!
👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏❤
Adding a split window could have made this project car twice as appealing and valuable? And this is a still masterpiece.
It would be wrong for the year the car is representing.
On a 1953 Corvette??

Too bad about that V8.

Overall looks sweet except the dash a bit way to high your eyes get pulled to the large dash humps
I wonder what happened to the old Vette Foose was working on.
10 million + 10 years = $ 10,000 check and a trophy.
Thanks for watching!!!
It really is a shame that none of these cars will ever see a road.
They make cars that everyone Kindig

I kin dig it ….
Dont get me wrong beautiful car , but to me no fun if cant drve & enjoy

This one is way different from the others.
This all aluminum body, not like the others he builds. Also is a hardtop.
No matter where I park it at Dollar General somebody will ding it

Just curious, who do you think built the first Kendig car? Who do you think built enough cars to grow that business into what it is today?
He started out building himself.VW's.Used his grandfather's tools.
