Retired Nephrology RN here; I did acute Dialysis and we had an MD that gave me orders for Dialysis which included pressers in ICU, something the dr forgot about. The pts BP was <80/ sys, so I used the pressers and removed > 6 litres of fluid in 3 hours. The dr came in and berated me in front of the entire ICU for using the meds but it worked and the patient did much better afterwards. Thank you for being so gracious to the nurses!❤️🩻
