It’s nice to have a grand son around when having to pull rope all day

I did something very similar. I made one 24"×36" then one 24"×60" I use the short one for mowers & generators and longer one for small motorcycles and bicycles. Seems to work great! At 60+years old some of the equipment gets heavy. I used expanded metal for my tops.

Nice mod. I've been looking to come up with a lift table myself.

It's working fairly well. A couple more modifications in mind.

Yep I might just do it my self because back hurts all the time. When your back goes it’s pretty much ends mechanic work

@@SmallEngineDIY look for old air lift for cars and add a top plate to it
Works great and easy to move around

A worthy project that I'm going to copy. Thanks for posting. Good to see you're wearing "eyewear." Suggest folks use earwear, too, when using loud machines. Eyes and ears are hard to replace.

Is that a Hobart handler 140? If so and you are using flux cored wire, be sure your gun is connected to the negative terminal and the work clamp is connected to the positive. Also be sure that the little wheel that drives the wire is positioned directly over the wire and the proper groove is being used for flux core wire.

I wasn't using flux core. I was using .030 mig wire. Got a new small spool of wire to test it with and that did the trick. Now I have a 10 pound spool that needs some rust treatment.

Curious to know your process for finding a mower engine part? Your go to website, etc. Even with Model no., Type, and Code I have yet to find a parts website that is easy to use for this…. Thx

Sure was a lot of talking and very little planning and almost no build.
