Love this! My mom, brother, and I lived in the little yellow house on Glassell St right next to the Dragonfly Studio 🍊💗 The circle will forever be my second home. So many good memories, so much love for downtown orange. Thanks for doing this! 🙏
I lived in Orange from 1960 - 1965 and in Orange County from 1960 - 1975. The Area has changed so much. Not many orang groves left if any. For future reference Glassell is pronounced GlassSELL emphases on the SELL.
I love Old Towne Orange. Sometimes I drive; sometimes I take the Metrolink. Its iconic with the central plaza and many movies shot on location there because of the convenience and how picturesque the place is. And with easy access by even train!!! Glad to see it didn't get destroyed like downtown Anaheim. I wish they kept the outdoor tables they were nice to eat at and made the place a lot quieter with out too many cars... oh well. One of my favorite places in all of Orange County!
WOW!! I never knew about Orange! Super cute!! My husband said he remembers going there as a little boy. We'll have to explore next time we're down there. Thank you!!!

Hi Bass Great walking tour of Old Towne Orange district. Love that it still has the original buildings and has that small town vibe to it. Wonderful places to vist Excitedly watching! Chris
I’m a so cal native from inland empire, heading to old towne today for a doctor appointment. Thanks for the highlight tour. Very gracious of you to say they were friendly at Urth Cafe when they were clearly rude and confrontational. So I won’t be going there.
Always love your recorded walk tour ❤️ please take your time, we don't mind even if it's an hour long video because you're so pleasant and very informative, and so you won't easily get tired also 😊
My sister lived in the apartments above the antique store many, many years ago. Got to watch them filming "That Thing You Do" and No Doubt take their photos for the Tragic Kingdom album! Very cool neighborhood, havent been back in a long time.
@@YellowProductions I’d recommend Haven Craft kitchen + bar. The wait staff were amazing, food was delicious, and the cocktails were on point. Great spot for date night. Boss cat kitchen and libation was decent also but I enjoyed Haven a lot more.
Hi Chris. Great walking tour of Old Towne Orange district. Love that it still has the original buildings and has that small town vibe to it. Wonderful places to check, out but I really love Watson. Definitely a must see for sure. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Always drove by it every week but never had a chance to walk around the area. Looks like so many interesting shops and I'm gonna have to check out that comic shop.
Ha, I probably almost ran into you there. I was visiting Chapman U. last weekend and walked around the old town. I love the Orange Circle - best place in OC as far as I'm concerned. If they would only ban the Harleys that seem to blast through every 10 minutes just to spew noise to annoy the people enjoying the circle - can you start a petition?
@@YellowProductions thanks Chris, just wanted to know for when we get to Disneyland,we won’t have a lot of spare time but would love to go if it isn’t too far from there, thanks !

@@YellowProductions Well maybe I exaggerate - it wasn't physical. But it was a good scolding reminiscent of the nuns in grade school, lol. Call them emotional flashback scars.

Your mic, although you may think is good, is BAD! I think it’s Mono and not stereo. PleeeeeSe don’t do that to us ever again.
I grew up here- In my opinion, this is like a dream land of happiness and no war. One of the happiest places to go to, or live in/near.
I really like Old Towne Orange - quite a charming little place.

Thanks for the correction
I haven’t been there in several years. I used to go all the time. I can’t believe how many shops have been replaced by restaurants.
You're right.. its restaurant row now

At one time weren't there two Starbucks located in the circle?
Yes! The one inside the Wells Fargo is gone now

Are there homeless in Orange? Are the people still super conservative? Are the John Birchers still around??
Brilliant comment
What a douche
Stay away
Just sad that such a nostalgic place gets turned into another trashy college town.
