Is there a different suffix when you want to say “ Even though….” Or is it the same meaning in Turkish if you just say “even if”? I can’t thank you enough for creating these videos!
Merhabalar. "Even though" is a bit different. We use "even if" for hypothetical situations but "even though" for real situations. I will prepare a lesson about it next week. For now, I can give you 2 example sentences to show the difference. Çok çalışsam bile sınavı geçemem. Even if I study a lot I can not pass the exam. Çok çalıştığım halde sınavı geçemedim. Even though I studied a lot I couldn't pass the exam.
