It's 2023 and i can say, I have the metal slim silver and metallic red. The unique thing about metallic red is how it looks matte and metallic at the same time. I honestly want a blue or neon orange hahaha but 3 PS VITA , might be too much 😂
It's 2024, and I'm picking up a two-tone Red/Black PS Vita Slim this year from Indonesia on November 9th, which is funny because I WAS going to get a metallic red console, glad I made a better decision to get the Red/Black one, looks better than Metallic Red.

In her comparison the switch controller is clearly a more saturated neutral red tone, whereas the vita has some extra non red colors mixed in with the dye. Metallic is not a color, it’s a surface finish like glossy or matte, which just changes how the color looks in light. But I agree that it’s a nice red and I actually prefer it to the switch’s “normal” red.
I honestly love the lime and white color. It gives a mellow vibe to me. I also love the blue and metallic red. Its more of subtlety for me on color. But anythins better than regular black color.

Windjammer Enomoto Not ignoring the switch doesn't mean copying it or trying to bring back the Vita. It means taking it as a serious competitor. Nintendo did so much right with the switch and Sony has done so much right with the PS4. Honestly right now they aren't fully competing against each other. I know plenty of people with both. I just use a switch know because of all the great indies and of course BOTW.

Persona 5 is the newest, but Persona 4 Golden is a really great RPG that sets the standard for RPGs in my opinion! it is more lightful then other Persona games, but it still retains their great writing, battling and storu! And respect the raing, it's a 17+ game so not evwrything is sunshines , but it still has an amazing story with well-written characters! Please check it out!
Also, the Vita was...IS...a beautiful system. From the interface to the games.. it's sad that it didn't take off here like in Japan. But it's also great to see that it still has a huge following

I like how the colors of the PCH-2000 models also includes the front. I have the PCH-2006 Lime Green color but it's only on the back and the front is white. Not that it's bad looking but looking at how the PCH-2000 models have the colors in the front, I wish mine's like that too.

Personally my favorite color is the metallic red. Oh boy I love the Vita though. I bought the original OLED one right before the slim was announced. Then the OLED cracked and I had to get a new one. Then because of how I was carrying it around at the time (I just threw it in my pocket) the spring in the left joystick bent so I bought another one. Now I carry it my 3DS and my Switch all in one bag. I had bought the PSTV at one time also. I'm tempted to Homebrew the PSTV for emulators especially since it's dirt cheap now adays. But yeah that's my life with a Vita.
Normally I would go with a black or dark grey because it helps the screen pop more. I could do orange though, it helps that it has a black border around the screen. I really loved my PSP and still have it, definitely wouldn't say no to a new Vita. :)
I would love to add the Neon Orange Vita to my collection, I have the standard black one and the white/light blue Japanese import ones so far. I also really like the color on the Aqua Blue one too!

I own a neon Orange Vita and the second I opened it my gf had asked me why I ordered a Pink Vita. I would compare it to the Coral colors that Google uses on their Google Home Mini and Chromecast (more so the mini) It certainly changes color depending on lighting/location.

Both the Aqua Blue and the Neon Orange are the winners . They are so bright and look beautiful in brightness . One is warm and one is cool . Metallic Red was a close one but it is just too dark .
My Fiance just recently rediscovered his Version 1 vita and I have to say I'm jealous. I was raised in a nintendo family and never got to experience the PSP or vita. I'm so tempted to get the white with pink backing. Love the aqua version but I'm much more of a warm colours girl.

The PS Vita: which color is best? My honest answer is: it doesn't matter what color is best. A PS Vita is a PS VIta and a PS Vita Slim is a PS Vita Slim. No matter what model of the Vita you have, no matter what color you have, you can download PSone classics and old PSP games on to your Vita and you can play online for free on the Vita. Plus, there's no need for friend codes. Like the Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4, just look for the online players on your player list who you want to add as a friend and send them some friend requests. Simple as that. Like I said before: no need for friend codes. The only consoles and handhelds that rely on friend codes are the original Wii, the Family Edition Wii, the Nintendo DS series and the Nintendo 3DS series.

Gotta say blue. I love all the other colors of course but that blue...it just goes well with the black bezel. It's bright without being loud and it's just absolutely perfect to me
I once held a lime green Vita, which was SO pretty! And I still would've picked that one, even though only it's back was lime green, but my oh my what a great color it was. And out of these four, I guess, I agree with you, Erica, neon orange is the most fun and aqua is the most solid looking option.
My buddy bought that orange one. It's super bright, but awesome. It's such a treat to look at. My room mate has the blue, and of course I'm with the boring black Vita.
I opted for the Neon Orange one when I got my Vita 2 years ago. Something about the shade of it really stuck out to me and I knew that's the one I absolutely had to get. Sucks that all the cool colors are mainly Japan-only, so I had to import but it was definitely worth it in the end!

They had to go with expensive proprietary memory cards for the Vita ruining everything.

I once held a lime green Vita, which was SO pretty! And I still would've picked that one, even though only it's back was lime green, but my oh my what a great color it was. And out of these four, I guess, I agree with you, Erica, neon orange is the most fun and aqua is the most solid looking option.
My buddy bought that orange one. It's super bright, but awesome. It's such a treat to look at. My room mate has the blue, and of course I'm with the boring black Vita.
I really love the neon orange as well. It's definitely the best in those four.

I opted for the Neon Orange one when I got my Vita 2 years ago. Something about the shade of it really stuck out to me and I knew that's the one I absolutely had to get.
Sucks that all the cool colors are mainly Japan-only, so I had to import but it was definitely worth it in the end!

If you're looking for any games to play at all... Soul Sacrifice (Delta) is an amazing game! Works perfect on the Vita, has a great soundtrack, amazing story, and fun gameplay.
