Of all the technological advances I have witnessed in my long life nothing strikes me as being as retrospectively beautiful and elegant as TVR’s. Love them!
I am working on my DVR620 right now and came across your video. You just uploaded it. lol I didn't need your repair steps, but it's still good to see other people fix these things because I have 5 now and 3 are broken.
@@dege13 Thanks for the comment! Yeah I just look for videos to make sometimes and this wasn't really meant as a tutorial. I still use VHS tapes so a device like this was of interest to me, figured it'd be cool to show myself getting it working again.

Yeah, this is a little dodgy. You should select a capacitor based upon its rated capacitance, not whether it fits. No harm though. Otherwise, it was helpful to see the disassembly since I have one to fix.
