- Arya is getting some buffs in this upcoming multiversus patch on august 15th. The devs told us she will have a vacuum effect now, whcih will shoot Arya up in the multiversus tier list. Arya mains have reason to rejoice, while everyone else should run for the hills, as this might be too much!
Let me know what you think of the buffs down below? Is multiversus on the right track? or no? - เพลง
Personally, I wouldn’t want a vacuum mechanic, I’d much rather see her up special being more consistent to hit, a lot of her attacks take low priority and it’s very hard to learn Arya when you can’t get a hit in, all in all good video though!
agreed! I think the vacuum might be a little too strong, considering she is probably getting more buffs on top of that! Hit boxes are going to be reworked in the next patch as well. So she is going to become very scary soon.

I mess up my loop combo ou they justed did a patch where i cant do up special spike loop combo ?
they broke that combo, apparently a fix is on the way
I think this video takes the idea the wrong way. When you hit her up special you can just randomly shoot off in the wrong direction and the move whiffs even though you hit it. It’s supposed to confirm a combo since it does no damage and no knockback on its own. A vacuum would only probably be active if you hit with the move to make it so that combo can be confirmed. This is a good way of making the move 100% consistent when hit.
It’ll definetly make Arya go up to A tier from B tier or at high level from A to S but not because it’s broken but the opposite, because it works for once.
Yeah, but before you could DI away from it with proper input. I'm scared there is no longer any counter play and it is confirmed to combo 100% of the time. I'm not a fan of the combo for the same reason I don't like jakes skateboard move, the player is forced to watch and can't do anything for a 1-3 seconds. I do think she deserves a boost though, I would have preferred any other way :/
@@yaggzii Patchnote said they buffed her but she’s actually 10x worse now than she was before. Can’t combo at all, up special is even more inconsistent. She ended up getting shadow nerfed into oblivion.
Also Arya’s up special should have 100% confirm on the next attack if she hits it otherwise it’s a useless button that does nothing.
Arya has no kill moves only combos(though right now she doesn’t even have those) whereas every other character has at least one kill move. Being able to DI out after she hits you with an up special wasn’t ever intended btw.

@@yaggzii That's literally her most important move. If you di away from it she literally has nothing at her disposal

This sounds miserable, if someone misses they should miss, the vacuum mechanic is stupid and should only be used sparingly, currently there are basically no moves in the game that should have it, finns backpack included.
I hope its not as strong as it sounds! or else we have a new leaderboard queen

I don’t care
As an Arya main. I see absolutely no need to change her kit in anyway. I never encounter battles where I struggle on her ever. I do lose, don't get my statement twisted. But I'm never put in a situation where I feel high stress when playing her, ever. Typically if I lose its by minor amounts, but when I win I literally roll with exponentially higher damage and score.
But I will happily take any buffs to become even more of a bully.
