the scene in the tent near the end of dune blew me away. could be just me, but i thought his performance was phenomenal, as was rebecca ferguson’s.
He truly is a gem, probably the most talented actor of his generation.

It the most it's mean along with other not the only one.
He is someone who can make you really uncomfortable watching some of his scenes and that's a skill only the best of the best actors have. Not just to touch your feelings but to touch your very core.

As he often says in interviews, he feels what the characters feel, he chooses roles for, roles that speak to him. He says it's cliché but when you get there you transcend yourself to live your character. I think he does it so well, that you live your emotions with his characters, it's very powerful, and magnificent. He very often brings tears to my eyes, where American actors often fail because they are too formatted. He has this je ne sais quoi of difference that will make him a huge great actor of our generation, I am almost the same age as him and I think I will see him throughout my life in films that I will remember, in anyway I wish him. Beware of the Hollywood machine.
I guess this is what we call natural talent.
People like him are the ones who should be actors, and how lucky we are to be able to see them in action.
I would like to sincerely thank all those who believed in him and were involved in bringing him to the surface.
There is no doubt that he is an actor that I am really looking forward to seeing in the future.
I think people underestimate how important body language and movements are and timothee is REALLY good at expressing things through that
He is only going to get better...as he ages..I will be watching

He should have been rewarded for his piece in "CMbYN" - such a brave, natural and moving performance! It was pure perfection.
In "Beautiful Boy" he was pretty amazing, too. "The King"... As Hal he left me speechless - gave unexpected tones of acting there! Almost every time I see him on screen I feel like watching a real life person not a character played by an actor :)
But right, "CMbYN" - it should have been an Oscar right there back in 2017/18.

An amazing actor, when I saw him in " The King " during his speech to his soldiers that was incredible. I'm going to be watching him in everything he's in.
Beautiful Boy is probably the most personally painful movie I’ve ever watched. I could never watch it again, but his acting was so incredible in that. His performance in The King was extraordinary as well. Seems like he has been lucky to get (or chooses) roles in films that actually tell important and affecting stories. Looking forward to whatever the next thing is from him (besides Dune which is going to wreck people, so that fits in perfectly lol).
I’d love to catch him in a play sometime. I have a friend who is desperately looking forward to seeing him in 4000 Miles this summer. Can’t wait to hear all about it!

Amazing in THE KING. His eyes are so full of emotion like no other actor.
I don't get it when people don't see how amazing he is
First, I liked him when he was getting big because he was cute and every girl loved him. Then, he started getting so many roles and I began to think he was overrated and getting roles just because of his looks and popularity. Then, I watched more of his films and realized his raw talent and amazing ability to act in any role. So, now I’m a reborn Timothee fan lol because I think he truly might be the best actor of his generation.
I am in tears. The feeling of watching him from the start and seeing him grow one by one I can't explain. Am so proud. He is one of the best actor and human being.

@@soumil5794 This film is amazing. I love the book with its complicated, deep psychology and politics and I wasn't sure if IT could be translated into the cinema language. Villeneuve proved it's possibile. The film has got overwhelming, beautiful wide shots and music that goes with them so naturally. Actors were amazing, too. Especially Chalamet (his face reflected whole pages of inward monologues from Herbert's novel) and Ferguson as well.
He was mesmerizing in call me by your name, the first movie I watched of him. One of the few actors who can own the character with grace.

His natural talent is captivating combined with his inability to be more than human. He is so incredibly relatable and yet his skills are so unattainable that the combination of both put him in our sights as someone that we relate to and at the same time wish we could interact with. I cannot believe this, my sight got blurry, tears started rolling down as I was watching his speech to his men, it made me feel as if I am that soldier in that army fighting for my country which is slipping away from our hands. If you got to pursue something truly to the level where no one else can come coz you yourself created it and now its yours and timothee does it at that level. give this guy an oscar please.
