Uncle tipped grandpa's jd 60 narrow front with 45 loader over lifting a rock... dad helped upright it, they let it sit 30 minutes, checked fluids, ran out great! Think uncle needed new underwear! Thanks for sharing 👍
My chore tractor when i first started out raising cattle was a M with a westondorf loader, i really wanted live hydraulics so i put that loader on a 560. Both tractors were narrow fronts, its not so scary when you fluid fill both rear tires and add 4 wheel weights to each side. My cattle lot was on a terrace down hill, i put rear gleaner combine wheels on the front so i could run wider 16" pickup tires on it for added floatation. Had to had tire chains on the back year around cause of the mud and hill climbing out of the cattle lot pulling a feeder wagon. I used the loader to fill the hayfeeder wagon and to haul round bales down into the feed lot. Everyday, twice a day, for 48 years. Only rolled the 560 three times. Sill have that tractor, took the loader off, now it is doing light duty running PTO augers.
Parts from the wide front are helpful. The plate between the frame and the lower bolster is for adjusting the wheel base. ( front to back ) I don't need M parts but....
T T that looks like a Swartz wide front. I have a John Deere 70 with a Swartz wide front. They work good for normal farm work. That is the last front end i'd put a loader over. I've got a standard 4010 John Deere with a loader on it. It handles a 5 ft bale good. Have a good day!
Considering it's an early IH front end its not a loss, those front ends were garbage. I know of a couple salvage yards around that won't even sell them, they get torched as soon as they come in.
That is one big loader for a small tractor. A heavy load out on the end of it and that could put a lot of stress on the front end. I'd get rid of that loader and either run it without, or get a smaller one. That is a nice little tractor though. I bet it has a lot of years left in it.
Have to agree with you on narrow front end tractors shouldn't have loaders. Try loading silage with a narrow front with a F10 loader. It can have a degree of pucker factor! 😳
Fun you will complain about the roaster in the background but will stand next to the IH 1456 talking over the idling diesel or your truck idling in the background.
we have that same loader on our ih 400. there is no power down on them loaders only up. but u have power tilt up & down on the bucket. when u lower the whole loader it floats down. good looking tractor tho.. do u plan on putting a wide front back on it.?
I have a Farmall h and i love it but after 6 years it won't respond to the throttle i was hoping it was the carburetor and after putting a new one on and toning it still wouldn't so im thinking it has to be the governor
Sorry to far in am in ohio. I am out on the tractor but if you could find me one in my area it is greatly appreciated. Your videos are great I'll keep watching. And thank you, Forrest Fourman out
Get your heart checked. Your comment in your video. " getting winded." Check your heart beet . If it's skipping a beat . You have a fib. This causes shortness of breath and blood clots . A fib is a result of a lack of magnesium. Real easy to fix .
Have you tried turning up your volume? Pretty low budget stuff here. I’m more worried about working on a tractor than you guys hearing me. Take it or leave it.
Love how smooth those old farmall 4 cylinder engines run.
An iconic sound.
Great stuff! Funny how the seemingly simple projects end up being the biggest pains
Always.

Not what I would call a fun ride.
Gotta love an old (Super) M. Fires right up, great tractors. I wouldn’t want the loader, either.
They are fairly dependable. Correct that the loader is way too big.

Rear ballast would make one hell of a difference.

Love those farmall tractors. 😊
I do too
Great find !
Thanks
Awesome video! Love the music too good choice.
Great video!! That looks like a great tractor!!
Thanks 👍
Good video. You have some real good videos
Thank you.

That’s an IH wide front, tie bars are in front of the axel. A later wide front would have tie rods behind.
It’s an early IH wide front.

Enjoyed your video have a great day.

Would not recommend
Great job getting the front wheels assy-off and the other one back-on..
It wasn’t exactly fun

😂
I’ll start yelling so you can complain about something else.
@@tmonteIH How about you just shut up?
@@anderleof all you guys do is complain. About like old men at coffee.
@@anderleofYou should take your own advice. It’s not your video.

It’s got a NF under it now. Took the loader off and listed it for $2500.
Struggles happen. Anxiety quicken , frustration, then potty mouth begins . Oh I know it to well .lol
I’d try to replace that wide front end or try to repair the broken one
Or sell it as is.
That air jack is cool
Handy as heck
Do you have any fenders for an M? This is all I lack for my restoration.
Yes I do
price? shipping to central Texas?
That wide front is pretty sweet, she should buff out. 😊
Not really worth the effort to save.

In the advance working on the distributor?
Well that was quite the little trip.
I need a beer
Loader power down then ??
It is. Just not enough power to lift the front end of the tractor.
I would be interested in the loader and bucket
$300 and it’s yours
How much do you want for it? I have always wanted a super M
$2500 as it sits now with no loader.
Where are you located state wise
@@ForrestFourman northwest KS.

Stiener has that axel tube
Probably $800.
that loader to big for tractor. we had a826 hydro that work great on that.
Be a good way to make an 826 hydro look ugly.
There have probably been more of those loaders on H's and M's than any other tractor out there
Oi 💯💯💯💯💪💪👍👍👍
Lose the loader that's going to make it a whole lot easier
Lost it quickly after I got home.
I can’t weld that I’ve done it before
By all means. Come weld it.

Magnesium how do you know helps????? With a fib???
Should have known h was different
Next time I’ll consult my advisors
Id Definity take that clapped out home made loader off of it lol
Came off the next day.
@@tmonteIH i bet.
Comment for algorithm.
I could hardly understand a word he said.
Perfect. Exactly what I wanted.
rams on the loader are ass backwards.
Not my design.
Terrible audio......either muffled or you're trying to talk over a running tractor. You like to do that.
