In this video, you have access to preview everything that is offered at the beautiful Retreat Costa Rica.
Arrival Process: 4 Stars
Location - Nice Scenic drive, Beautiful Rain Forest, Breathtaking Views.
Transportation options - Taxi service was great, Alan provided great customer service.
Check in - No wait, very organized & a HEALTHY welcome drink is provided.
Room Tour - Loved my room. There is no tv, which allows a lot of free time to rest, read, meditate, get out and hike, tour & explore. As well as enjoying the company of new people, who share common interest.
One dislike: Insects in the room during the evening after the rain. Ants & Mosquitos mainly.
Wellness: 4 Stars
Spa - AMAZING customer service from the entire staff.
Spa - Spa treatment was phenomenal.
Spa - Steam room and pool are very nice.
Gym - Onsite gym available
One dislike: Gym is very small which gives very limited space to move around. Machinery also needs to be updated.
Experiences: 5 Stars
Shopping: Nice boutique onsite.
Yoga: Offered morning & evening - subject to change
Community room: A lot of book options to read, instruments & games to play, A great space to connect & chat
Pool: Very peaceful, several seating options & a great place to enjoy the peacocks!
Excursions/tours: Can be arranged prior or during your stay. Great options: volcano, hiking, farmer market visit with chef, beach day and more!
Eateries: 5 Stars
Tea & Coffee: Nice setup for self service
Farm: Organic fresh food from onsite
Restaurant: NO MENU's - Everyone receives an appetizer & entree for breakfast and lunch (vegan & vegetarian options). For dinner a desert is provided as well, with a protein of your choice (seafood options).
Restaurant: The entire staff was extremely professional & provided over the top customer service.
Restaurant: The entire menu is anti-inflammatory foods.
